I'll say it again.

Restricting replays is fine.
The -10% loss for it is also fine.
Seems great and really enjoyable.
It definitely won't deter koreans.
It won't make finding a game harder.
Come WCG time, it gives players a chance to hide builds yet still mass-game.

It's a really great idea. And 10% seems very fair.

There should be a feature which allows a person who has restricted their replays to allow the download of some games that they have played.

Maybe people who restrict will be kind enough to release a few games now and then...

10% deduction is a bitch, i experienced it during the beta season where i played 1+ rank always but would get the same amount of points as if i played a player with the same rank as me, you rank up so slowly that it really isnt worth restricting ur reps if ur in it to be "seen", however if its wcg practice ofc restricting reps is understandable

i think u are exagerating a bit... 10% means for every 10 games u have to play 1 more.... thats 15 minutes.

A ladder where everyone can watch everyones replays ?
Or dou you prefear the ladder where no one can watch any replay ? ( like pgtour ? )

I think both isnt the best idea, but that restrict thing and the ( - 10 % ) is like the best way ever to solve this issue. Good enough players wont mind that they have 200 points less after 20 games and bad players dont care that someones gonna see their replays.

Like how stupid would it be if u didnt get -10% if u restrict your replays ? Everyone would restrict for sure then.

And if you are training for wcg then restricting is no problem at all, because if u train for wcg u dont give a single fucking shit about how much points you get. You just want to train, after all.. and not make a good place..

So seriously, all these guys who are flaming this '' 10 % rule '' and are saying the sytsme sucks, plz use your brains and dont ffs think you are boxer or savior..

I guess restriction could be good at the very ranks, where theres very few players and it would be worth it to look at there replays to see there style in the MUs

If you install this, simply highlighting a replay will bring up the players, positions, race, and apm of each rep.

In addition, LibertyTerran is banned for a week for flaming WGT like an idiot. TL and WGT go way, way back, and flaming people who vollunteer to run one of the largest, oldest, and best BW sites on earth is a sure ticket to disneyland. The debate about rep availibility is fine (although ideally would be made in another thread) but flaming people when you have ZERO knowledge about what it takes to run something like that is nothx.

For the record this is his second ban for flaming WGT. The other time was when he told the lead admin to "stfu".

So when you restrict reps and you play someone who doesn't retrict reps can you DL the rep from the person who deosn't restrict? You might of asnwered this arleady but i don't feel like reading 38 pages o_O
