also, if you forgot to reset for a perfect torchic, apparently people have been managing to breed speed boost torchics from the event torchic + ditto. I guess males can pass down hidden abilities now too. so you can just make another one. | ||

Not sure. I haven't played the some of the games before this one. I'm learning from scratch pretty much and taking in things people have said online and what some friends have discovered. | ||

I'm imagining you can still RNG abuse, but nobody has figured it out yet. No matter what, I can't imagine pokemon stopped using an RNG, and it's a game that can be played completely offline, which means it should be abusable. I personally got extremely lucky with RNG. pokerus correct nature torchic with 30-31 attack IVs correct nature Yveltal on the 8th try correct nature Ralts on the first try (lol) I do love how EV training works in this game (though I miss gaining +20 attack after leveling up). I have this suspicion that the game automatically caps EVs at 252 for you in super training, which I am trying to test out right now. | ||

I guess Gen VI they really wanted to move away from people using RNG tools and using outside calculators, making getting a competitive team easier than ever. | ||
