Well i guess ill post here.

Yes i decided to leave Reign about a week ago. I left amicably, there is no bad blood between myself and Reign. We are just in different places right now, and it makes more sense for me to focus on other opportunities. I wish them all the best of luck, and hope to remain friends with them for a long time to come. Although i will probably soon find a new home, you all should keep an eye on Reign, i expect they will keep improving and do big things in the near future.

Under these circumstances, yes-- you're probably right that any individual party in the sc2 community can easily get blacklisted by a player or organization for leaking information without permission.

However, in the mainstream sports news world this happens all the time without sources getting "scared off" since the general public trusts certain news outlets over the players/teams... so you have a scenario where a source is more or less obligated to leak information to ESPN so that they can be the ones telling their side of the story and minimize the rumors/misinformation.

Of course our community is much smaller than the mainstream sports world and a little respect can go a long way in maintaining relations.
