The MLG/GSL exchange program will now make a dual Dignitas GSL appearance possible! NaNiwa already participated in this month's GSL Code A August, now he will be joined by his fellow countryman SjoW in next month's GSL Code A September! We are looking forward to seeing our players compete amongst some of the best Korean players in the GOM.TV studios! Since people didn't read my first post in this thread...

The GSL want this to add the "global" factor into their league and interest world-wide viewers. They aren't picking random four foreigners to make sure they get a new bunch every time. There is a reason they said "Top 4." It is because they want the best foreigners they can get. If Naniwa is the best foreigner every single time, then he should be there every single time. It would be unfair if you pick someone worse than Naniwa, and drag the skill level of the GSL down (possible further.) You're right. I typed my response without really thinking too deeply about it beyond my initial knee-jerk "Naniwa as forever Code A is ridiculous" reaction. Still think it's ridiculous, especially with all the amazing Korean players languishing in Code B, many of whom are better than Naniwa. But you're absolutely correct. Ah, well, guess we'll see Naniwa back in Code A next season.

Naniwa will have a spot for Code A due to his performance at Anaheim. he won't need to qualify this time around.

I am really glad to hear that. Naniwa has some sick dedication and i cannot wait to see how his time in Korea plays out. Code A will be a good benchmark for that i believe.

I don't think it's something to apologize over It's helping bridge the Korean and foreign scenes. I think even the Code B players would realize the importance of that. And I'm sure you'll show us soon that you are indeed deserving of this opportunity!

No worries, I'm glad you have the ability to try again at Code A, all/most of us are wanting to see you be the first foreigner to win GSL. Also, don't be so down and hard on yourself, keep up the hard practice and you'll win.

In fact, overwhelming majority of playXP people cheer for MLG invites. Most of them wish invites stay in korea as long as possible and give some entertaining korean vs foreigner matches. I don't speak for GOM but I'm fairly certain they are hoping Naniwa to take that spot.
