I might be wrong with this, but if I remember correctly Ganzi wasn't a Korean invite at last MLG, which means he could be the 3rd Code A invite. I didn't really pay attention to this seasons Code A qualifiers, so I don't know whether Ganzi played them or not.

I think GSL clarified that nobody on a Korean team could get the Code A seed, since the whole point is to bring over non-Koreans.

On the real though, I think that the whole MLG competition is just as fierce as Code B qualifiers. Not only do the groups hold some of the best of the best foreigners, but imagine going through the open bracket qualifiers just for a chance to get to group stage of play. In Code B, you have to beat 5 or 6 people to qualify for Code A in the span of 10 hours. Coming from the open bracket at MLG, you have to beat between 9 and 20 people to qualify for Code A. I absolutely think NaNiWa deserves to go to Code A again. He fought through MLG and earned it thoroughly in Dallas, and proved that he still deserves it by finishing in the top 8 in both Columbus and Anaheim.

It's pretty obvious that the Koreans gets the upper-hand in this league-exchange deal. The return on investment for the player is more than just money. You're getting to go to Korea for 30 days. I don't know the internal specifics of it, but I imagine that there's some sort of travel compensation (considering MLG flies players out and meet&greet and all that jazz). If not, well... let's just say the Koreans are taking us for a ride then. You're given the house to train in. Don't know what else besides that, but at least food & some transportation would be the general assumption. 30 days of playing with the Korean environment. That's a big benefit for your career overall, not just some quick prize money. Is it simply the Code A spot? Do they provide travel, accommodation, living allowance? If so, how would you describe the accommodation? Or does GOM do little for you and its the generosity of the other pro teams that makes your stay possible. And GL HF, hope to see you advance next season!

Stop saying otherwise because you're making yourselves sound uneducated. Code B is harder because it's less forgiving and you have no time to prepare for your next match etc. The players who qualifies for code A is not always the best player in code B. Sometimes two code S class players like Hero and DRG meet in the qualifiers (happened for GSL July) and then only one of them can advance while worse players in easier brackets still can qualify even tho they're worse than Hero and DRG.
