Getting 2 chances @ THE hardest thing to qualify for would be insanely unfair. THere are people who are twice as good as Naniwa (No offense to him hes one of my favorite players) that can't even qualify for the tournament because Code B is that hard. HoSoe Team for example... pretty sure i spelt that wrong.

Code B is arguably as hard or harder than Code A itself. I mean hell, until this last season, we had: basically the ENTIRE NSHoSoe team, DRG, MMA, and (i think? cant actually remember, im so bad lol) players like Clide etc etc. Between DRG, MMA, Sculp, Seal, and many others, all of those players could compete at AT LEAST Code A, and probably Code S, so to give the foreigners a second shot instead of allowing players like these a shot to get into GSL would be ridiculous imho edit: i know we havnt seen enough of sculp or seal to honestly judge how good they would perform in Code A/S, dont flame me for it, just using them as an example =P

HoSoe Team for example... pretty sure i spelt that wrong. You are wrong. Everyone who participated in Anaheim and Columbus got "two chances" to qualify for Code A (assuming they are eligible.) It is not the case that everyone can claim a code A spot, as you are implying. The deal is if you finish in the top 4 of eligible contestants, you are able to claim a code A spot in the next Code A season. Naniwa got top 4 in Columbus, which qualified him for this Code A. He also got top 4 in Anaheim, which qualified him for the next one. The only way Naniwa will not be able to qualify through MLG is if he is now considered a Korean resident, and as such ineligible. However, this seems to be un-fair because when he placed top 4 in Anaheim for the up-coming Code A, he was not a Korean resident.

The smartest thing to do would be to include a new rule saying that one can't qualify for Code A through MLG twice in a row or something similar.

If he keeps dominating in MLG, I see no reason to keep him from it.

The point of the exchange program is to ensure the participation of 4 foreigners in the GSL league. The GSL want this to add the "global" factor into their league and interest world-wide viewers. They aren't picking random four foreigners to make sure they get a new bunch every time. There is a reason they said "Top 4." It is because they want the best foreigners they can get. If Naniwa is the best foreigner every single time, then he should be there every single time. It would be unfair if you pick someone worse than Naniwa, and drag the skill level of the GSL down (possible further.)

The problem is there is a very small pool of interested individuals in going to Korea that are non-residents. Really, the actual problem is that 3 Code A spots is too much. One or two is sufficient.

You wanna give me a code A spot? Im platinum, I can take em.

Why not that's like saying he cant win twice in a row??? like sorry you won last time it isn't fair for you to win twice, sure your the best player but that don't mean you get first price..
