Even if they do plan or go forth trying to conquer the whole EVE realm, it will take longer than his projected one and a half years. Since other systems will still have their sov levels when GS tries to invade and there is no way they will be able to keep up their pace as their territory expands and their enemies become more localized.

I think if they tried to conquer the whole galaxy for no specific reason even some of their closest allies might turn on them, I could be wrong however. Without gaining Massive amounts of players it would be impossible to defend the whole galaxy.

So will there ever be a point where BoB os pushed so far back that the sheer density of their compressed forces will be able to fend off GS? Or is the ridiculous advantage GS has in numbers impossible to overcome at this point?

I don't think that will ever happen. From my understanding of eve, density of forces doesn't really matter, as long as they are all in the same system. I'm pretty sure that Goonswarm outnumbers BoB Kenny by a lot, and they'll be able to bring even more forces to bear in that system. I get the idea however, that numbers aren't as important as fleet organization/ tactics (to an extent of course). From how I read it (I haven't checked in a while, I'll go update my knowledge soon), Kenny is on the cusp of a failure cascade, which is where the average corporation member decides that the game isn't fun anymore, and stops logging on, and then more and more members stop logging in. Maybe it'll be possible for KenZoku to make a comeback months from now, but I'm quite sure that they've lost this battle.

From the sovereignty map it looked like that already happened. Kenny lost almost all their territory although I can't tell what the diagonal lines mean, so ken could be about to take back (or recently took back) a decent amount of territory, or they could be about to lose that territory.

I think the diagonal lines mean a recent sovereignty change. The diagonal blue lines in today's map are where Kenzoku lost sov, and the diagonal pink is where Goonswarm took sov from Pandemic legion (not by force afaik). A something awful member posted a very nice gif of the territory changes from the start to march first (so it won't have the most recent map)

I figured out it was change in sovereignty. I couldn't tell if it was recent gain or recent loss.

Bumping for a new sovereignty map:
http://go-dl1.eve-files.com/media/corp/Verite/20090304.png

KenZoku is gone.

A goon posted this in the eve forums:
There is no Kenny (The title is likely a reference to Mittani's thread "there is no bob~~~")

As of the most recent downtime, Kenny has been removed as a 0.0 space holding entity.

http://dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/verite/20090304.png

To Barbie: Our remaining towers in our south-eastern space will be offline shortly. We have moved out. Feel free to grab some space of your own for once, and make some isk without the leash. You are now free!

There are some uncontested high end moons in the area as well. See Zapawork's Post.

All too easy.

Source

Skunk-Works is losing ground to RAZOR Alliance rapidly, and it looks like the edges of Executive Outcomes space is being lost. Oh, Kenny still has some systems in Delve as can be seen by the blue dots in the yellow swarm, but I'd bet real money that they are low-value systems, and that they're going to be lost soon.

Looking on eve-maps.com I looked over their information regarding KenZoku:

Holy shit.

According to the site, "Data Refreshed: Alliance Members & Sovereighty 04/03/2009 . Outposts 04/03/2009". The massive jump at about -25 days dates to when ex-BoB became KenZoku in order to regain their sovereignty as quickly as possible. Judging by the past sov maps, the big jump happened on the sixth of February, the year of the Destroyer. (Map of Feb 5th, and Feb 6th)

Anyway, we can see that the number of outposts and sovereign systems has massively declined. I'm not quite sure what an outpost is in this graph, but I'm assuming it's important. I don't think it's a tower or player-owned-station that I keep reading, because the numbers seem a bit low for that. Either way, it seems like they only have one left, which is probably bad. They're at below half of their number of systems, and perhaps most important of all is how their membership is declining.

The membership graph hasn't changed much, but look at the scale. I estimate that maybe 200 people have left KenZoku alliance since it became the focal point for ex-BoB.

Graphs sourced from here.

Meanwhile, the Goons are up to new devilry of their own. They call them dickstars. The short description is custom-fitted towers. The longer description is player owned stations that are an absolute pain to destroy. Goonswarm is destroying and deploying towers at such a rapid rate, that they cant' take the time to defend them all. The beauty of these towers is that they have no defensive gun emplacements. Instead, they are outfitted with only two types of modifications. Hardeners and ECM. Hardeners just increase the station hit points, making it into a giant floating rock. ECM means you can't lock your weapons on to the station, so you have to stay at your computer to shoot at it.

A POS with hardeners and no defenses other than ECM. ECM mods have a ton of HP, more than heavy guns, and of course they jam people trying to kill the POS.

The basic idea is that while the POS won't kill anyone, it is an absolutely gigantic pain in the rear end to actually kill a POS set up like that. Ergo, only dicks set one up to be dicks to other people trying to conquer space; ergo, dickstar.

(Taken from SA). Basically, it forces you to sit at your computer, and shoot for hours at something with (large number) of hit points that just sits there, if you want to destroy it. That's also assuming that they decided to skip adding the strontium fuel that allows for reinforcement mode. It took an evil genius to think up the Dickstar.

Magnificent bastards.

An outpost is a player-owned station. They are very useful; I don't know if they can be destroyed or built. Perhaps they switch ownership with soverignity. Stations are what allow alliances to build ships and the like.

Goonswarm is destroying and deploying towers at such a rapid rate, that they cant' take the time to defend them all.

I think that the dickstars are in old Goon space, actually. I could be wrong.

A "POS" is a Player Owned Starbase. These are the towers with forcefields around them that determine sovereignty in a system. These can be destroyed and they have to be placed next to a moon.

A station is a building in space you can dock in. These are all built by CCP when they release areas of space. These cannot be destroyed but if they sit in a neutral system (0.0 space not yet owned by an alliance) their shields can be taken down and taken over by a player corporations.

An outpost is very similar to a station as you can dock in them. The major difference is that these are completely built by players. Various aspects of these can be upgraded for a large sum of isk such as amount of factory slot. They can also be taken like stations, same rules apply.

Apparently capture said fleet battles of BoB/ZenZoku and GoonSwarm, I found one on YouTube, seems big but might be from the previous wars they had.
