Competo Cup cheated on me

Hello there guys! I am making this topic to show my big disappointment with Competo Cup and one of its admins - Competo|Schniiii.

In todays edition I made it to the round 5 and waited more than 30 minutes for my opponent - Toxi. Being tired of waiting more , I asked admin ( don't remember which one) for a defwin which he gave me. After my first won game in quarterfinals ( 1 round after 5th round) Toxi typed me " What the &*&^* I was doing , insulted me in many ways so I went to ask admin for his decision.

Competo|Schniii told me to finish my quarters : proof : [21:25] <ADMIN|schniiii> fresh play on ur quarters

The next game took me 10 minutes , I reported 2-0 win and went to watch Special Endrey steam - Orly vs SortOf quarterfinal cuz I saw that I was going to play nfteamBreach in semis.

During the time I played in my quarterfinal next admin said that I had to play Toxi nonetheless. But I didn't read his words cuz was busy playing obviously and later on didn't read anymore because I simply didnt need anything from admins.

After finished game between Orly and Sortof I went to read the chat . But .... just the QuakeNet chat I am showing you guys, please, help.

If they awarded you with a walkover because he didn't show up, they shouldn't be allowed to take it back after you've already played your next round of games.

people get fucked over a lot in these tournaments with too many matches and not enough admins.

one question tho: for the 30mins you spent waiting, was toxi your opponent on the bracket already? or were you waiting 30mins to find who ur opponent is cuz toxi hadn't won yet? if it's the former, you're right it's messed up, if it's the latter, you should have waited for their match to end to see who u were supposed to play. although its still messed up that an admin told you to play your quarterfinal and then another admin contradicted that decision, but w/e.

Probably a small tournament with the admins being 18-21 year old immature kids who don't know how to run a tournament. What do ya expect? If they issued you a walkover and then forgot about schniiii must just be retarded or something...when I say retarded I mean like actually handicapped mentally.

Really embarassing blunder by the admin of the tournament. Even more embarassing that he didn't even acknowledge making the mistake later on and instead banning you. So sad when these things happen, hope you'll have more luck in the future.

Sounds like a case i had with counter-strike and the admins from clanbase.

Clanbase was the most corrupted league/ladder i have ever encountered. But it doesnt matter how right you are you cant win from admins. Just tell your story and decide to never play again on the competo cup just like i did with clanbase.

anyway, I think things would have gone better if you didn't get so angry and asked schniii to talk to Bundi the admin that told you to play Toxi so he could confirm your story. but overall you got fucked and the competo admins look pretty bad here.

#Mios I could really play Toxi if I was informed by admins ( is it really a harsh to contact me on BNet????) Toxi didn't ask me to wait . The first time he typed me was after I played 1st ( 20 minutes) game in quarters with Vasilisk .

Afterall I beated Vasilisk 2-0 and he in "regame" won 2-0 with Toxi.... I .... AM .... SHOCKED... IT IS UNBELIEVEABLE!
