Top 4 all Teamliquid guys with Tyler taking the Finals. I Honestly don't see why everyone is putting MVP in the finals he has to play against the lag and while I think he is a great player I think this is really going to go to a foreigner.

Very few real upsets here, I think. If there is anything but this top 4, I will be shocked.

+ Show Spoiler + There are some BIG decisions that i could barely make here lol and i will probably change my mind on ten minutes later. White-Ra - Loner is an interesting match up and i'm really not sure how it'll turn out. If any foreigner could surprise MVP with an interesting different style i think it would adelscott but obviously i would never actually predict that outcome lol but its something i can almost see happening and i'm very excited to see the matches. qxc - genius is something of a tossup, genius can sometimes look weak to my eyes but qxc has not been playing at his best lately and vP is possibly his weakest matchup. i can definitely see him winning though. Nada - TLO oh fuck i am excited for this game, i have no idea how this could go and it hugely depends on if TLO plays random or not. if TLO plays terran or rolls terran enough i can definitely see him winning this. Kas - Haypro is interesting, both are somewhat underrated players i feel and its a very competitive match but frankly i was watching his stream today and haypros ZvT looks very very good Tyler - fruitdealer i predict this match and really hope it happens but you know i really think tyler can take it, really hope it happens! MC - Tyler again i really fucking hope for this game but as jinro once said "MC does not lose PvP" MC - MVP the player that wins this game can legitimately claim to be the best player in the world by some distance i think. it was MVP last time but hes starting to look a little more human lately and i think MC will get more of a chance to show how good he can be but this if it happens will be the best match in the whole damn tournament. As for the other side i guessed the greater SC2 experience means zeerax will beat mondragon but i know little of eithers play really so guessed zeerax. ret naniwa could be a great match but i think rets korean practice will probably mean victory and i believe he won the last time they faced? also for similar reasons to the adel-MVP match i think if anything could fuck nestea up it would be something unusual like goodys style of play but i'm still not gonna bet against him cause hes bloody nestea! HuK - Jinro is a match i've wanted to see for a long time and i don't think they've ever publicly played but as much as jinro is the hero of everyone on this site after seeing huk take down MVP on his stream i just thought "yeah huks got this". Huk - Boxer wow. as much as Boxer is Huks idol i really think he is a lot better than boxer now but what a story for a match Nestea - Idra. I don't know ZvZ too well and i know how volatile it can be so i've just guessed this and i think idras a great player so i went for him. its partially so i can set up a next match that i've wanted to see for a long time. Huk - Idra. People overuse the word "grudgematch" and love to exaggerate drama between players but i don't think it would be wrong to say that the players would feel this match a little more than most i'm a total fanboy of both these players so it as really hard for me to choose but i eventually chose idra. i think given current practice levels, the state of PvZ and to some extent huks recent performance (is it just me or his play just unrecognisably better than before? and he was fucking good before too!) huk goes into this almost as a favourite but i think idra almost seems to have a psychological edge on him in tournaments so i went for him. My final MC - Idra i can't see idra beating MC somehow. i really don't think he'll make the little mistakes that any other protoss would giving idra a chance but i definitely think it'll be competitive and worthy finals! i can't wait as you might have noticed by me writing a damn essay about my hand wringing over who will beat who lol

Will there be an official bracket competition, or is this all we've got? No there will be an official bracket contest. Also agreed I'm sure there will be some real upsets in ro32.

I would love to pick TLO but Nada is so gosu. Also Nestea vs Ret and Nestea/Ret vs Idra ZvZs are pretty certain but its hard to pick winner of those. I truly hope Jinro makes it to final and takes the games from MC, but MC is still the favourite to win the whole thing imo.

If this were played on LAN I would have a lot of confidence in these preds. However, most likely it will come down to which server the game is hosted on for a lot of matchups.
