#1 has the advantage to have the best chances of all to qualify for the main event.. u dont get any ''price'' for being #1 on the ladder..

its all about getting better chances to qualify for the main event..

I guess A- is what u need for top 32 possibly even for top 48.. T_T

Since there are already people acheiving A- ranks this early I would say you will need at least a 9000 rating or above to qualify.

That and everyone will be mostly dodging koreans anyway

It depends on how they dodge the koreans. Without dodging they will barely get higher than A-. If they only play inter-foreigners games they can reach A easily, Glaucus explained it very well on the previous page.

that doesnt mean that only 12 will be A-, just that there wont be 48 A-'s
there could be 47 A-'s and 1 b+ and b+ would still be the cutoff for top 48

it might happen.

guess we will have to wait until the 10th December when all the players will push for top 12.

top 48 A- cutoff might also happen, the current level is 6500 (B) and has risen for 300 points in two days.

this just proves that foreigners are too capable of getting really high ranks, they are just lazy to play many games. IdrA is 73# overall so that bullshit where top 200 were only koreans it was because they actually have a reason to play many games, while foreigners rarely get a reason like TSL to play so much
