I noticed that if I go up to the browser bar while viewing a thread on TL, the number at the end of the bar is what thread it is. So if I replace that number with, say, 1, I will view the first thread ever on TL :O
Now, everybody's seen the first TL thread, it's nothing new, but doing this with any other pre-1000 number gives some very interesting insight into not only TL's history, but how incredibly badly people posted in 2002

Your right. Im going to do the right thing and completely cold shoulder that thread. It is a terrible place I wish didn't exist since it seems to bring the absolute worst out in people. I do not envy the moderator that has to look at that thread.

Idk you should ask mods. Overall i think he is a nice guy and a good contributor, he just makes a couple of dumb/angry posts once in a while. Gypsies are a sensitive issue in Europe and you can argue that they are a real nuisance in some places but he went too far.

There have been several instances of vigilante squads lighting fires in those camps causing hell. Gypsy hatred is widespread and many people applaud this sort of behaviour.

I made my retreat from the General board some time ago. I couldn't handle it any more ._. there's a lot of good posters, but there are a lot of bad posts as well. My compassion goes out to the poor mod who has the wrangle the horses in that thread.
