Sometimes people need to realise that what they say, think and do is a reflection of who they are. Some of the comments in that thread are just plain disgusting but are borne out of frustration. The people condemning them without a moment's notice don't themselves justice. As Biff said "Corelation!=causation" but clearly there is a problem. I'm just disappointed in the responses that thread has received. TL should be better than that. I've said it before and I will say it again, it is really hard to have a conversation with someone when they're shouting in your face.  | ||

Still, I don't think it was a good idea of him to insult much of this forum's population, and most of the team members of TL. As an optimist, I think his utterly irrational, baseless posting in that thread is just trolling, rather than him just being plain stupid *shrugs*. | ||

I feel really bad for the people who's countries get stereotyped and feared because of it though. I can imagine all the anti-american bullshit some people are spewing in there too whenever a non-european tries to be part of the discussion >_< headache-inducing indeed. I just stay faar far away from the general section. | ||

After a list of warnings and half measures, always resulting in EZ going right back to selling accounts, he was banned. As a hilarious punctuation- in his google document apology letter to TL after he was banned he had a section with contact info for anyone that wants to buy an account. It was as hilarious as it was sad. | ||

I also reported that stream. Oddly enough, I think I still have his apology letter in my google docs. It's pretty long and lengthy with annoying colors D:< | ||

This also happens in the strategy forums where once in a while somebody whishes to discuss some particular tactic or strategy that by chance I practiced for 200 games straight. However I am discouraged by how every thread of some interest explodes to 20 pages overnight, where every semblance of an intelligent contribution is drowned in imbecility. This is not only a problem of the general forum. There's no incentive to pay attention to what others say and even less incentive to put effort in your posts. The mods work full time but are unable to contain this. I feel like TL really needs some sort of reputation system where shitty posters are sent into oblivion forever instead of getting a short tempban when they manage to excrete something so stupid that stands out from the rest. | ||

Edit: TL does have a reputation system. It's users. I know, it's a little archaic, but I remember people who make good posts and I remember people who make bad ones. Mods are the same way. | ||

Most people who post in this thread are pretty good posters. Perhaps all new posters should only be allowed to read the ABL for the first week  | ||
