Then someone shows up with yet another halfway clever troll pic - and gets a ban? What's the reasoning behind that? So why exactly haven't you been banned for this post? Seems to be proving itself wrong. I tend to agree with the vast majority of bans, even, painfully, my own temp. (Although I would have decided to ban me for an entirely different subset of my posting than the mods did, the overall pattern they temped me for was hard to argue.) I also agree with almost every ban that I see on this site, but that one in the funny pictures thread does annoy me, I first thought it was because it was a video not a picture but when I read what he posted I looked back and realized it wasn't a video (I wasn't going to watch it) and that actually did make me laugh, I really think this is too close to the mod deciding what is or isn't funny because that certainly wasn't inappropriate. I think everyone pretty much agrees with the bans on this site. If not there would have been some kind of TeamLiquid revolution by now. The only people who disagree are probably the people getting banned and the people who like the trashy internet\meme humor. And I have never seen someone banned for their opinion on TL. There's a difference between a well articulated opinion and spurting out a shitty 1-liner. you never seen someone banned for their opinion? okay go to the BW-section and say something along the lines of "i would like it if player xyz changes to sc2". they get extremely emotional over there, because their game is dying probably lol.
Nice try. The mods do a good job of picking out the shitty posters who's intentions aren't discussion.

This usually occurs because one mod finds something objectionable that another mod find benign. We do our best to be identical in terms of banning, but differences still happen.
Mods sometimes discuss borderline bans in IRC and such.

Whenever somebody complains on this thread about the moderation, it's usually somebody with a shitty posting history. I took a look at a sample of this guy's posting history and they're almost all terrible one-liners formatted in text speak.
