This thread is for discussing recent bans. Don't discuss other topics here.

Take it to website feedback if you disagree with a ban or want to raise an issue.

Keep it civil.

NOTE: For those of you who want to find the actual ABL thread where the bans are posted. Please look in here: https://tl.net/forum/closed-threads/

Funny you say that, I just so happen to have some birds to share.

I have swans too but for some reason imgur hates ALL of my swan pictures.

A sparrow, Mallards, a Canada Goose and a sillouethe of a hummingbird, all apparently taken on a phone? That's pretty weak, but maybe someone could use those to find where exactly you live and stalk you a bit?

Silly piss, that's not a silhouette, that's an actual hummingbird.

Most of the birds I have on my phone are pretty boring. Go figure.

Heh, I don't think a selection of some of the most common birds in the world are going to help pinpoint his location. Even if anybody is mad enough to want to. I guess the hummingbird proves conclusively that he isn't in Britain. Although the photo is blurry enough that it might just be a hummingbird moth... and then he *could* be English after all!

I was thinking about the surroundings, silly. You need to up your stalking game.

That's quite generic as well. Though I have some with particularly unique foliage that didn't make the cut here...

Speaking of birds, we just today we run across our old videos from Iceland from 2006 - and we found that there are several species of birds that we later kept looking for for years, because back in 2006, we weren't able to recognize what we see and we forgot since then. Please be amazed by the unbelievable quality of PAL footage from the middle ages:

So, we clearly got another Euphorbus alt on our hands. Their lifespan seems to be about 50 posts (pretty long for someone who is an unwelcome PBU) but I guess we need our edgelords every once in a while.

haha someone else who noticed (no 100% proof here). He really needs to work on his posting habit to hide himself better. Some people never learn -_-

I'm always confused when PBUs try to get one over on us by making a new account and strictly following our forum rules and only doing good posting so they stay under the radar. It's like they think we had something against them personally and that by getting back in at the price of changing all the things they were doing they've beaten us.

One of the most mind-boggling inconsistencies in moderation I've seen IMO, link to Website Feedback:

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/website-feedback/523542-justice-for-arb#1

^ Contains link to original thread where said inconsistency occurred.

Why do you think you ban them in the first place then? If I were going to make 500 rules abiding posts after making a bannable post why ban me at all in the interim?
The unrealistic sound of these propositions is indicative, not of their utopian character, but of the strength of the forces which prevent their realization.

Because without the ban you'd make a lot more bannable posts?

They post like shit, they get banned, they assume we have something against them personally and not their posting and so they come back, change the posting to conceal their identity, and think that they've won because we failed in our personal vendetta against them.

If you take the ban out of that system then it doesn't work.

I'm not asking why they think they were banned. I am asking why you think you ban. Why bother with permanent bans if they are always in effect temporary bans?
