Honestly I felt a little pissed off just reading the ban list, and I don't think mahnini's enjoying it either :/

But you don't fuck with BW while Mani is around. edit: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=32696¤tpage=494#9880 Destiny, now RootDestiny got banned for having his stream to spam someone else's stream. Don't know if that is just limited to what you say or there has to be action following what you said to be banned. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=179195

I think that is bad practice to be honest. Stream chat is nothing like posting on a forum and the two are not directly correlated.

You're still in the community. Just cause you spit at someone on the streets as opposed to in the house means it's ok? I don't think so

Which is why I err on the side of caution. How can you say something is a bad practice when I didn't even explain what the practice is?

Disagree with you guys. We need to do all we can to discourage douchbaggery on BNet, if the fear of playing against one of Chill's alts stops just one person from being a dick then the policy is a good thing. Also I don't read stream chat but I imagine people are just as annoyed by douches on that as well. I don't see why it's so hard for people to just not be douches to start with, why should people feel compelled to be a dick anywhere? whether it be TL, BNet, IRC, IRL or whatever. Just don't be a dick.

The banning (which seems to work sort of) seems a necessary evil.. it's also a "show"... [33 face push-ups] We mammals just know how to corrupt everything we come up with for our own betterment.

Just reminded me of that podcast for whatever reason. There's a time and place for everything, and eh, haven't seen any ban due to incidents outside of TL that didn't seem justified.
