edit: I really dont get how ppl know who a pbu is. I understand the mods can see ips and figure it out but couldnt he just have been some guy who says the same dumb stuff that every other ban victim does? Like what is the indicating factor here?? | ||

It's not even as easy as banning one's IP, apparently, since some tech-savvy folks know how to change it before registering another account to haunt TL. For myself, I can spot certain PBUs by the way that they comment: which topics they post in, how they word their posts, how grammatically correct their comments are, what worldview they espouse, whom they reply to in their posts, etc. Best bet would be either the General section or Blogs if you want to hunt them down, because the ones who are banned and return are usually those banned for their posting in either of those two sections. PM'ing since the post was nuked. | ||
