Reason: You were banned only 10 days ago for being unable to debate in a civil way. Here you are being a repeat offender. Either learn to manner up or get off TL. I can't decide if he and the other idiot in there with his location listed as Romania are the same guy or not and it's some elaborate trolling scheme where he aggressively debates both sides of the argument. Thoughts? http://i.imgur.com/YvwROey.png < That's him, you can safely say he's just a shitty troll and won't be here for long. He needs some serious help. Yeah that's some volcano-rage craziness right there. Like Kwark banned people or WAS banned? Kwark has had a few people that harassed him outside of TL I believe. @Above poster ...no, just no... The other way around would have been so much more interestering. Wow, in general I'm against the idea of "making trolling illegal" and the recent crackdown there's been on it in the UK, but imo people who send messages like this just making personal attacks on others do deserve to be punished. My ideal punishments would be 1) Going round to their house and film them squirming as I explain who I am and then uploading it to reddit for the world to see what a coward they are. and 2) Contacting their parents and explaining what their child has been doing on the internet But no. 3 would be having them go to court and end up paying a fine or doing community service. Can't agree with 1 and 3, maybe #2 though if it's a child and what he or she has done was very severe. And get the parents concerned about a stalker on the internet or something? No thanks... I think when you show a parent screenshots about their child daily insulting a certain guy on twitter/youtube/whatever then they won't think "OH MY GOD MY CHILD INSULTS HIM EVERY DAY IN HORRIBLY DISGUSTING WAYS, HE CLEARLY STALKS THE LITTLE BOY!" Since the guy talked about "ideal punishment" it may not even be him showing up at the parent's doorstep, but maybe the police. No... I mean... how in the world did you get their phone number/etc. to contact them? They won't have any idea who you are so they may assume stalker. And if the 'insults' are from both ways...
just has the potential to create a lot of complications that aren't necessary.

I don't think it matters where it comes out that you have a heavily flawed character, if the people in charge (/the community) don't want that kind of character around.

i should note though that tl.net has a no tolerance policy for hackers. they are routinely banned from the site once discovered regardless of activity on the site.

I know what his point was, I was there when the guy was banned. My point was that there's no reason to care wether he did it on TL or not, the point stands that such people shouldn't be here. For clarification:
well, its still not exactly the same to ban someone for a post he made on TL (like alexdelarge) or for something he said/did outside of TL. Malum est malum.

Maybe you should add the requirements of sending a CV along a TL registration. Then, prospective users will be required to undergo a personal interview over teamspeak, psychological evaluation and play a game of their choice from what TL covers with an admin, to show if their playstyle fits the specifications.
I now regret that I have made all my online identitites easily linkable by a common username. Even though most of the thoughtcrime I have commited is not in English, translating options exist, so mods may easily find out that I do often use facebook to swear, rant angrily and express opinions against political correctness, feminism, religion and positive discrimination of pseudoracial minorities. Given that my real name is easy to find, a dedicated stalker can easily realize that I have been under investigation for libelous behaviuour on the internet. In fact, there is a whole webpage partly dedicated to expressing how big of an asshole I am (not kidding). Excuse me now while I crumble under fear.

I agree with this, I'm surprised others don't. This is TL's house after all, they choose who enters and stays.
