I have a GTX 460, 4GB RAM, and Athlon II X3 3.2ghz (overclocked/unlocked to x4 3.4 ghz). I'm able to stream medium graphics SC2 just fine (check my recordings at justin.tv/belial88), and I could probably stream ultra but just haven't tested that yet. I can play on Ultra settings just fine as well. My resolution is 1280x768. sc2 is cpu dependent, but the graphics are gpu dependent. As in, it's mostly your GPU that determines if your system that can play on medium, can play on Ultra. But CPU allows an increase in fps no matter what graphics setting you are at, as sc2 is extremely cpu dependent. Put simply, SC2 is very cpu dependent and always appreciates more processing, but things like shaders, lighting, texturing... that's all done by the GPU. Hell it's about freaking time. I hate how he's condescending to everyone when he's not even a pro-player. This post sums up my feelings about his behavior ever since I first met him. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=285914#8

So far the discussion was very civil but from experience with the other stuff we already saw here on TL I would say this won't stay like that for long.

Belial88 was just banned by semioldguy. That account was created on 2010-11-07 17:13:15 and had 4302 posts. Reason: You make a huge post to bash someone and combined with your seemingly endless moderation history, it appears you do not learn from your warnings and bans. Your last chance has been used. Goodbye. Finally! Holyshit this guy is annoying. So tired of him going into tech support and just blindly spewing stupid shit. Lol. When I saw that Belial is gone, I instantly thought 'JingleHell is going to be stoked'. I recall he was also the guy behind that thread asking about what router to buy which went on for like 5 pages because he just kept being a dumbass. Knows "all about" the intricacies of aftermarket CPU cooling solutions, doesn't know what a roughter is. Yup, lol. It's unfortunate that he decided to keep posting in SC2 strat and Tech Support, the two places where it's terribly apparently when you continually spew nonsense as fact. His last temp ban was great though. On September 13 2012 03:53 The_Templar wrote: ? Page 1376 near the bottom Of course I've already beaten her to it. This is the ABL. And I'm TheToast. Unless threats are made against MoW, probably nothing's going to happen. And while we're talking about being banned in the ABL thread, I'm the only one who's polled myself to be banned.

Good lord, a router is less than $100 and can be refunded if you bought it on Amazon or Best Buy. I have no idea how someone like that survives in the real world: he must find it hard to decide which sandwich to buy during lunch break. Well, if you're an advanced user there are some cool features out there like traffic monitoring and detailed logging of firewall activity. But yeah, for the average person any old b/g/n router is pretty much fine. And we told him that. Over and over--for like 10 pages. But sure he's an expert on after market CPU cooling. And custom PC building. And everything else tech support. Right. I wonder why he thinks motherboard explosions are a common occurance, lol.

Not that I agree with abusing the return policy of retail stores (because fuck you if you do this for products that don't have problems) but for someone who was willing to pirate Windows, I don't have a clue why he wouldn't just do this.

If not, just get any router-modem and return it if its slow as shit. Lol, we should've told him he needed to buy one of these: http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/Enterasys-HiPath-Wireless-Controller-C4110-network-management-device/1775549.aspx Just as payback for all the awful advice he's given everyone else. Remember his PC Build Thread? Just has so many gems Too often I see advice saying "SPEND MONEY" but not understanding why; just as a caveman thinks, 'it works'. Very possibly the largest unsubstantiated pile of crap ever written in the Tech Support Forum. How he came to be such an "expert" baffles me, considering he previously didn't even what the win lock key on his keyboard did and, despite writing an ENTIRE GUIDE on it, later didn't know what hardware he needed to run SC2. Lol, this guy is just... just a piece of work. I know like 80% of his posting was in SC2 strat, I'm assuming they must have loved him there too. Lol. I wonder how many NRGmonk bans he's got?
