No fucking shit, get some wards so you don't get ganked, THEN you can buy boots.
Nope, too arrogant to listen.
I too have friends like this. Mate:"I go support" Me"Ok nice".. 10 minutes in Me:"Where are the wards?" Mate:"I just need my arcane first"
I really have to echo the sentiment that it is more frustrating having bad AND stubborn friends, than playing with bad randoms. I play with a group of 10-15 people ranging in skill from bad/beginner to pro level. I am somewhere in the higher middle. When the composition is such that we are 4 around the same level and a last one being worse(we know it, he knows it) and he still goes "I want to play antimage", I just cringe. It can take many different shapes and forms, but in the end it comes down to they can only play so many different roles efficiently at a mmr higher than their own.
At the same time I am torn on the subject, because I know many aren´t as competively minded as myself and thus I don´t try to be too bossy. But when it happens again and again despite friendly appeals not to, you get frustrated.
When it come to bad randoms, it is much easier to just make lemonade till the game is over.

For me, it is like when someone complains (stupidly) that I should have fought 1v1 and not using my team. I guess some people forget that the game itself is centered entirely around the concept of a team...
How did you do enough damage to counteract the backdoor regeneration? I remember I once played against a furion who tried to backdoor us, but he couldn't do anything because of the backdoor regen. Maybe it was because he had mjollnir instead of desolator though.

Yeah, I went desolator and even daedalus. I can play him support so fun to get that damage up and wrecking faces (I had one game that lasted a while where I had +330 damage going... so much funnnn). But yeah, for myself. the purpose is not even to try to take it down. It is to force them to retreat. If our creeps managed to arrive, than the tower will go down for sure.
Like, in all honesty. If you have some faith in your team and they have the capacity to at least hold the other team, furion can just go around and take down towers left and right. It is just so satisfying (he is becoming one of my favorite heroes of all time).

Dear valve
Stop giving me fucking chests. Even if I buy one key it won't make a dent in these chests.
Thanks

Yet another game ruined by a retarded drow ranger player, called Admiral General Aladeen. This one is particularly special though. This 12 y/o decides to max aura, take 1 point in silence, and spend the rest on stats. That's right, ZERO POINTS IN FROST ARROW. And he tells me that it's a new style of play.

Yeah, I've actually gone that sort of build before. It is reliant on the team to hold off while Drow can farm. But the crutch of it is this (or at least from what I do); Swap between aura and stats, continue pumping stats and depending on team makeup, can go into silence or not. I go for helm of dominator after getting phase boots, and than go to SnY (I usually do this just for dire though).
I use helm on a strong creep and stack the ancient until you no longer can (while farming jungle). Pretty much, when ever I go this build. If the team managed to avoid major feeding, I can right-click the enemy team down as if they were butter. Throw in something like daedalus and they will die to crits quite beautifully. Yes, this may not be the most optimal build, but it can be very fun if done correctly.

Does anyone know if they are going to implement proper matchmaking at some point, pretty ridiculous going against some tryhard premade team of 5 about one fourth of my games. Usually coupled with that are teammates that don't speak english. I mean a team of 2 + a team of 3 vs another 3 + 2, sure that's fine I guess. But an entire compliment of coordinated players is too much, it just becomes a roflstomp too quickly, I don't know why I face these when I matchmake alone or with one other.

Yeah, I'd usually go 1 lvl of frost early just to have it, then max out aura and silence if needed. Then only start getting arrows again lategame.

The point is, even if you are going for aura/stats build, you would still take 1 level of frost. And not surprisingly, this drow player (like 99% of all pub carries) was absolutely incompetent at farming. That's why every time I see a drow or a sniper picked on my team, I die a little inside, because I know that 99% of the time they won't be able to carry (unless enemy team feeds them like retards). So either I pick a carry myself and gimp my team's early and mid game, or I go for a ganker knowing that the game is a ticking time bomb. It's like playing 4v5 because you know right from the pick phase that one of your team's heroes has virtually disappeared down a black hole.

u don't always take a point in frost, it depends on the lane but generally frost arrow is really good in pubs cus u can catch people out of position all the time

I'm still surprised when I come across people that don't know about orbwalking.

3rd server crash in 3 days and was coming back from a 4v5. QQ

I am speechless at my team... We were pretty much guaranteed a loss since our team could not win a team fight. But as prophet, I managed to take down both top and bottom rax of theirs and even damage their main. Well, I died once so what does my team decide to do... they went and rosh'd.. half of my team was still at rosh while they rushed in and took down our main and loss.
This is the I.D. 22313388
Just watch the ending... I was so pissed off. Anyway, watch the ending... I was in awe... completely shocked... I think this is one of those moments where anger does not even do it justice, I just want to murder them.. argh!

Lina is so pro that she has force staff and null talisman at the 20 minute mark... And lvl 1 dragon slave while maxing fiery soul.

randomed, Nature Prophet (never played him before) but at least the team is decent with NS,LS,SK and AA.
went mid while LS went jungle without saying a word (ok thats normal) couple of mins in, LS went to fountain to heal then stay there for a long time (finally disconnected) then AA left (15 mins in) so its basically 3v5, want to disconnect but its my last game for the day so what the hell....
and then after 54 minutes finally this happen.... absolutely loved low level pub games

Watch 820's Spectre guide, feel good about playing Spec, first pick it - suddenly, SD Leshrac POTM trilane.
No, really, what the fuck?
As a side note, I really like the PMS-Tranq-Vit booster build, so far so good.

I have to travel in like 30 minutes, so I wanted to play a good game before that. First I'm tinker, picked it second after jugger in my team, but a guy still picks tiny and then blames me for picking a second mid hero. But whatever. Later tiny abandons the game, but rejoins and afks at the fountain... Still it was a decent game (4v5) but we lost. So I want to play a second game.
First guy randoms riki.. 2 other gets rubick CM, I'm like huh, not bad heroes, i go naix jungle, then last guy randoms lycan... So he ends up saying that np he will take top solo, so he takes top solo. The opponent had a sylla jungle, so lycan was 1v1 vs gondar, and he lost the lane miserably... Sylla ended up 0-0-0 in the end btw so it was effectively 4v4.5 (I had 1 kill 1 assist), still cm riki managed to feed like 8 kills early on. At the 17 minute mark the score was 3-19 to the dire. Such a fun game... Now I can't play dota for the rest of the week...
Generally I don't like people complaining about their team loosing the game when they pick jungle hero, but this time sylla was completely afk farming on the enemy team, so my team wasn't even outnumbered (and I ganked couple times).
