Played a game earlier tonight, roaming Mirana, doing OK but not exceptional. Our mid ember fed Invoker(10-2 by 15 mins) and our offlane tide thought smoke ganking mid lane solo without ravage every five mins was good play though I put all my money on our safelane drow who was farming up a storm, she had treads aquila and MoM at 9 mins thanks to rotations but the Invoker shut all that farm down pretty quickly. So by 25 minutes, we've lost a rax and are going to lose this game according to ember who had stopped feeding and started farming. I promptly tell him to shut his fucking mouth and listen up if he wants his +25 MMR. To my surprise, all 4 of them listened to every single thing I told them to do from item choices to positioning in teamfights and hey presto, 15 mins later we take 2 rax and throne in another 10 mins. big up that mad fool drow who deliberately caught every single clockwerk hook and stood in the cogs right clicking so they'd crowd him and eat double ravage.

I'll admit...when the game looked bleakest, there was a bit of blame being thrown around. I caught a little flack over my unwillingness to blink into questionable-looking fights when I didn't have Ravage up, and I may even have been a little salty myself about my team running in 3v5 while Lion and I were hanging out in the fountain at 1hp due to Veno ult. But I've been in a lot of losing games. A little blame-throwing...that shit happens more or less every game. But actually sticking it out and giving the game 100% even when you're almost 20k behind, your ancient is below 10% life, and the enemy Silencer has sold his items and bought a YOLO-Rapier to backdoor it down the rest of the way? Above and beyond. So I would like to express my appreciation for my everyone:
...and, of course, my condolences to the enemy Invoker, who was almost good enough to keep his teammates from throwing.

http://www.dota2.com/leaderboards/#europe Shoutouts to the teammates that were cooperative during picks, and to when my opponents had their best players on supports. Now I'm not sure if I should try to progress or not play solo for a while :D

In the end our badass necrophos with refresher aghs managed to get both their ridicously farmed carries with disabled buyback, and we prevailed. Literally didn't see victory in that game until the final seconds. ![]()

We're usually around 20-30 viewers in client per game, and when it goes really high (100+) we always happen to have a shit game. Today though, we outplayed people with 5.4-6k MMR (as a group of 4-5.2k players) and we hit that top spot on the front page with 800+ viewers to see us do it. It wasn't as much the accomplishment of beating a team that is individually superior but the fact that people actually watched us win. Also, the +49 rating felt good. My 1-9-39 Venge wasn't all that nice (hard to steal kills with a fed pos 1 Storm on our team) but we played well. It made our day, thanks DotA community for watching games.

Enemy wrote gg finish fast before min 20. Thx rubick for having been such an awesome roaming bro, buying smoke, sentries and actually using communication in a constructive manner ! The amount of toxic teammates is pretty low overall for me lately. Teammates just trying to play as good as they can and not just trying to blame anyone who makes a mistake all the time are a gift from god.

Some crappy Morphling set, a rare Drow set (Boreal Watch), and a mythical Mirana set (with the Owlion mount). Was pretty awesome.
