Had a puck ball out so hard that it didn't even matter that our slardar went brown boots-armlet-vanguard-bkb then blink, and that I accidentally took stats at level one on sand king and didn't get my blink until 15 minutes.

Love that feeling when you successfully CAPSLOCK your team in to submission.

Played a game earlier tonight, roaming Mirana, doing OK but not exceptional. Our mid ember fed Invoker(10-2 by 15 mins) and our offlane tide thought smoke ganking mid lane solo without ravage every five mins was good play though I put all my money on our safelane drow who was farming up a storm, she had treads aquila and MoM at 9 mins thanks to rotations but the Invoker shut all that farm down pretty quickly. So by 25 minutes, we've lost a rax and are going to lose this game according to ember who had stopped feeding and started farming. I promptly tell him to shut his fucking mouth and listen up if he wants his +25 MMR. To my surprise, all 4 of them listened to every single thing I told them to do from item choices to positioning in teamfights and hey presto, 15 mins later we take 2 rax and throne in another 10 mins.

big up that mad fool drow who deliberately caught every single clockwerk hook and stood in the cogs right clicking so they'd crowd him and eat double ravage.

Just had my first real, close (if throw-tacular) comeback victory: dotabuff

I'll admit...when the game looked bleakest, there was a bit of blame being thrown around. I caught a little flack over my unwillingness to blink into questionable-looking fights when I didn't have Ravage up, and I may even have been a little salty myself about my team running in 3v5 while Lion and I were hanging out in the fountain at 1hp due to Veno ult. But I've been in a lot of losing games. A little blame-throwing...that shit happens more or less every game.

But actually sticking it out and giving the game 100% even when you're almost 20k behind, your ancient is below 10% life, and the enemy Silencer has sold his items and bought a YOLO-Rapier to backdoor it down the rest of the way? Above and beyond. So I would like to express my appreciation for my everyone:
  • TA, who may have flamed me a bit, but also carried our asses with his 700 GPM mega-farm and "fuck it, Rapier"
  • Lion, who announced "comeback pipe" at 37 minutes, and was right.
  • SS, who may have dropped some of the worst Serpent Wards I've ever seen, but landed some literal game-winning Shackles.
  • Drow, who did so much less damage than TA by the end that she was pretty much just a walking 40% MS slow, but sometimes that's what you need.
  • And, of course, the enemy Silencer, who decided to sell all his items and feed us a Rapier for absolutely no reason in a game they totally could have won.

...and, of course, my condolences to the enemy Invoker, who was almost good enough to keep his teammates from throwing.

Finally reached this years goal of getting to 6k / EU leaderboard.

http://www.dota2.com/leaderboards/#europe

Shoutouts to the teammates that were cooperative during picks, and to when my opponents had their best players on supports. Now I'm not sure if I should try to progress or not play solo for a while :D

www.dotabuff.com/matches/999474558 that was one hell of a game our offlane fed a lot and did not want to fight with us while we were outpicked and we barely won any fights when I duel necro and at the end the weaver bought back and time lapsed to kill ranged rax on 10 hp and died for that after that lanaya got rapier and we proceeded to kill the throne when we had megas and they had full raxes everywhere! it was one of those game worth the sweat

Had one of those nice games where you are down to 1 standing rax building (melee mid), and defended high ground for 20 mins. Had to get 2 rapiers to win it, but was pretty good feeling when we did it. (ended up selling a S&Y and a vlads).

continous 15k xp and gold disadvantage the whole game through. Think we started out as like 2-20 or something like that, their solo offlane going beyond godlike and their tiny getting 11minute agh. But we kept defending, like true spartan warriors. The most amazing thing this being a pub with 5 randoms and nobody really gave up but kept defending and kept their composure. Random pub teammate almost bring tear to my eye Q_Q
In the end our badass necrophos with refresher aghs managed to get both their ridicously farmed carries with disabled buyback, and we prevailed.
Literally didn't see victory in that game until the final seconds.

Most of the people that are 6k that don't deserve to be pick meepo.

Just start picking him every game.

After two days of losing won games I finally had one of the best games ever with storm spirit. Seriously that hero is by far on the most fun heroes to play if you have mana. We had 61 kills and I participated in 53 of them. The last 10 minutes I could almost jump through half the map ad with both orchid and sheepstick it didn't matter if there were two people. I just did whatever I felt like basically. Here's the game http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1030605966

Was playing a TMM with a couple of friends. We're back up by unlimited time by our local IT café, gives us gear and stuff. Nothing big, because we're not bigtimers.

We're usually around 20-30 viewers in client per game, and when it goes really high (100+) we always happen to have a shit game. Today though, we outplayed people with 5.4-6k MMR (as a group of 4-5.2k players) and we hit that top spot on the front page with 800+ viewers to see us do it. It wasn't as much the accomplishment of beating a team that is individually superior but the fact that people actually watched us win. Also, the +49 rating felt good. My 1-9-39 Venge wasn't all that nice (hard to steal kills with a fed pos 1 Storm on our team) but we played well. It made our day, thanks DotA community for watching games.

Yesterday I was supporting as ogre and had a rubick as a support partner. We roamed together and he initiated every kill perfectly. Our cores reacted to us telling them that we were coming and baited the enemy and participated.

Enemy wrote gg finish fast before min 20. Thx rubick for having been such an awesome roaming bro, buying smoke, sentries and actually using communication in a constructive manner !

The amount of toxic teammates is pretty low overall for me lately. Teammates just trying to play as good as they can and not just trying to blame anyone who makes a mistake all the time are a gift from god.

Had a game as Wraith king. Was getting REKT by enemy PA, so I AFK farmed for half the game. I had to get MKB, but it was worth it after blink Blademail. Ended 27-5-13. Sugh a good game. (Died almost every fight, but reincarnation who cares LOL.)

Working together to smoke gank the PA, feeding Axe the kill needed to get our lovely present. We went on to win that game easily.

Not to mention getting an awesome Luna mount to boot! It's great getting set off with a team that just clicks.

Had an all boy heroes vs all girls heroes game that was totally baller. Their team was Drow CM Venge TA and Lina and things start badly as blood dies to double stuns and their early game roles ours but I had repicked Nyx and Blood and our alch started to farm the jungle and I was able to hold the enmy off long enough for blood, jugg and, alch to outcarry their team since I could incinerate each one of them instantly except for CM lategame as she had Aghs BKB and a Heart by the end 0_0. Pissed drow off quite a lot as I murdered her over and over.

Queued for a an unranked all pick game to check out the PA event with a friend. First game, we get matched with teammates who are ... AMAZING. Not necessarily pros, but not feeders with no map awareness. Most important thing - we all communicated via chat. We friend add and queue for some more games, and end up getting 3 sets in 4 games from the PA contract thing.

Some crappy Morphling set, a rare Drow set (Boreal Watch), and a mythical Mirana set (with the Owlion mount). Was pretty awesome.
