To be more specific about my problem: when I first started playing Legacy, I did not experience any issues for about a week. After that time period, I would experience a computer crash where, at any point in time of a game, first, my screen would go blue and show a "no signal" error, then I would hear an error sound on my computer, and any other sounds that were playing at the time would finish (like songs, for example), but nothing else would load. I tried Alt+Tabbing to no avail, forcing me to force shutdown and reboot my computer. At first, this only happened every 5 games or so, but now it's happening every game and if I leave the game menus up for too long, even then. I have tried Googling my problem and found that many other people have experienced this problem, but it seems every solution is different for each person. So I've tried some of the things I've seen, but I'm not sure where to go from here.
Here's a list of what I've tried:
-Cleaning inside my tower
-Checking PC temperatures (all perfectly normal)
-Re-seating the Hard Drive
-Setting SC2 affinity to disable one of my 8 processor cores (Core 0)
-Running Battle.net and Starcraft II in compatibility mode for Windows 7
-Checking for any viruses on my PC (None located)
-Running SC2 on minimal settings
-Checking/Unchecking Vsync
-Running in Windowed, Fullscreen, and Windowed Fullscreen Modes
-Optimizing PC performance by disabling any unused processes, running turbo mode, even economic mode just to see what would happen
Here are my PC Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
If more information is required, I would be more than happy to provide it; keep in mind, I'm not incredibly tech-savvy so I may need some guidance on how to obtain specific information if needed.
Thanks for any help!
