Java install issues - internal error 2755. 1632

QuanticHawk United States32106 Posts March 19 2014 21:06 GMT #1 I am trying to install java on this computer and keep getting this error. I open up the installer and it doesn't go anywhere and then the message appears. I don't know what it means, but google led me to this. https://www.java.com/en/download/help/error_2755.xml I downloaded the offline version, and checked to see that I had no anti virus stuff running. It still is not working. Is there a way I can verify that this is correct? I do not see anything, but I want to make sure. I always tried installing with windows firewall off, no idea if that does anything. I do not have any other versions of Java installed at the moment.
