Will probably default to 16-20-20-38 but those timings don't really matter. Run OCCT 8 memtest for an hour
It did default to that. Should I close all apps and run it? Or just go about it normally? I can switch to PS5 for an hour so no big deal.
Edit: Ran the tests. No errors or anything found with the memory. Guess I'll just go about my business. Still have to get an nvidia card to use any of my graphics programs though. Rendering heavy files on 1 core? Nah fam.
I've come up with this build. What do you think? I can't benefit very much from a windowed case due to limited space, so here it goes: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/Qn7wJf

Don't go watercooling - air is almost strictly quieter until you go very high-end.
Good luck on the GPU hunt. CPU seems like it'd come in stock in the next month or so going by the sporadic availability retailers are seeing for the 59x0's.
I would consider an ALF2 CLC, they're substantially stronger&quieter than any air cooler for zen3; Up to 11c better than the D15 noise-normalized.
Support is good (they sent me a new backplate for free because gigabyte fucked up, then they designed a new mounting bracket which improves the cooler performance and shipped that to me for free too). The warranty just got bumped up from 2 years to 6.
- even the smaller ones perform very well because the main issue is heat transfer from the CPU to the cooler, not actually disappating that heat into the room air. Whichever size is chosen, the v4 mounting system with offset mounting holes would be used.
The best CLC's have massively improved in the last 5 years.

For 64GB of RAM you should almost certainly get 2x32GB Ballistix as it's a dual-rank-per-channel setup of micron 16gbit rev.b.
Other 16gbit IC's are generally not great. Getting more than 32GB of capacity with 8gbit IC's would mean running 3 or more memory ranks per channel which is problematic for performance, stability and support.

That case is terrible for cooling and not suitable for an ampere card.
Thanks guys. I've made some modifications: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/qsprsX - ALF II 360. 420 is available on Amazon but not on PcPartPicker and I wanted it to indicate problems if any. - PSU stays since it's white. White would be preferable but I'm happy to go mostly black if parts are missing - RAM (white) isn't widely available, so I went with Corsair Dominator Platinum 64 GB - changed case to white Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic
Ballistix is out of stock or not available in white. Question: do I need case fans for this build? If so, how many? I'm not sure if Lian Li fans are available for purchase (I searched last night but couldn't find many) and I don't want to make a mistake there. Do they have to be the same brand as the case?
Edit: SSD will be more, I just didn't see one that is 2 TB and just as fast.

They're identical other than the size of the radiator, which is just a question of being able to fit it in the PC case. 280 is usually pretty easy, 360 and 420 can be challenging.

Why ask for help if you wanna overpay for worse parts because they have a different color of plastic stuck on them

it's about supply availability and cost as well. Ballistix (white, also unavailable) is like 200 euro on top of that which I can't justify for RAM. It was going to cost almost as much as my Ryzen 5900X. I'd have justified if it was CPU or GPU though. I wasn't even able to purchase Corsair Dominator Platinum as said earlier because that wasn't available at this moment or it was very expensive due to supply and demand. So I've settled for the following: G.SKILL TRIDENT Z ROYAL DIMM KIT 32GB F4-4000C19D-32GTRS In short, 32 GB memory that's 4000 MHz and CL19-19-19-39. Your suggestion was if I go above 32 GB so I hope that decision makes more sense.
I've also considered your suggestion to change PC case to improve cooling so I did that. Unfortunately, ALF II 360 is out of stock in my country so I went with Noctua NH-D15 Chromax.Black with Chromax.White cover. Sorry for not taking all suggestions into account but I'd like to do powerful & good looking PC this time. Not necessarily the best of the best on PCPartPicker, my aim isn't that and also that's a bit too much money.
Lmui is also absolutely right about storage but PCPartPicker didn't seem to have a 2 TB Samsung SSD, so the one I've purchased is: Samsung 980 Pro(7000 mb/s read and 5000 mb/s write). Thanks once again to everyone!
Edit: there's Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB but price is unknown there.

and have fun looking at how white the build is. (You'll want to ensure they're running at <900rpm or >1100rpm to avoid excess noise that happens around 1000RPM).
Need some kind of pricing if you are not using pcpartpicker prices - cause stuff that you say like ballistix being 200 euro more than other 64GB kit is not reflected on there
dual rank 2x16 b-die is 280 euro
cheapest 2x32 ballistix (dual rank 16gbit rev.b) is 303 euro
fancy white rgb 2x32 ballistix (dual rank 16gbit rev.b) is 314 euro from a german shop, 394 from amazon
Summary: - some factories will increase their production by 2023 which won't help current situation - cryptominers aren't the single biggest issue why there are no graphics cards - PC purchases have increased much more than expected due to the pandemic
I'm due for a laptop replacement at work since my laptop's out of warranty now. I have a 2c/4t lenovo t470. Lead times for Lenovos with ryzen 7 4750u are in the 4 month range. I'm debating getting a crappier laptop from inventory with shorter lead/shipping times and just living with it since my current one is such a piece of crap.
The lead times essentially put me into Ryzen 5000 series timeframes (although lead times are probably just as bad).
Build completed except for GPU card, still waiting. I've put the GPU I'm looking for on the PCPartPicker link below. Currently reusing MSI GTX 980 Twin Frozr.
I plan to fix cables a little bit soon. I also have front fans and motherboard in sync in terms of RGB (after these photos I mean). Thanks for help guys once again! Some of parts have been replaced due to lack of stock in local shops.
Edit: I've ended up using Noctua's low noise adapter. It's made a huge difference for one of the fans. There is probably some resonance so I've also purchased their anti-vibration pads. Hopefully they make a difference and maybe the adapter won't be needed after that. PC is super quiet at the moment.

What temps do u get reported on ryzen master for maxing stock power limit (142w ppt)? - you can do that in cinebench or something
Is that only done via Cinebench? I'm afraid I can't do that at the moment because I'm having some bad luck with RAM. It doesn't even last 5 minutes there. So I've tried G.SKILL Royal Trident Z 4000 MHz (dual channel), it was fine at stock speed but it didn't last more than a few minutes in Cinebench when using DOCP (XMP equivalent) and also manual settings. I've replaced it with G.SKILL Neo 3600 MHz (dual channel) but it's not doing well at stock speed in Cinebench. This new RAM doesn't accept manual settings because it fails to boot, reporting 1F Q-code. Also, DOCP at 3600 MHz isn't any better, also lasts a few minutes in Cinebench, then it fails. Otherwise, it's fine in SC2 at 3600 MHz so go figure what's wrong. ASUS has a QVL so I'm wondering if that makes a difference if I replace RAM again. I'd contacted G.SKILL support and they said that they don't recommend more than 3600 MHz on a Ryzen system at the moment. I don't know how Linus does it on one of his latest videos even with 4000+.
With that said, here are results from AIDA64, default system stability test. It's the only thing along with memtest86 (though only 3 passes because I had to use PC, but I'll try today to leave it for longer) that are stable.
AMD chipset driver wasn't easy to install. Same situation with Ryzen Master. The former was saying that I need a system update but I am up to date. It had installed successfully after I created a new administrative account on my Windows. I've read that on reddit or something. AMD's drivers are definitely worse than Intel's (never had issues there) but as long as they make better CPUs and they still work comfortably...

As for the memory, the info is not visible in any of your pictures but you're probably just putting them in the wrong slots.
I'll research how to overclock CPU correctly on this motherboard, but it turns out that Cinebench was restarting Windows because of CPU overclock. Memory is completely fine, several passes in memtest86 confirm it. Also, I've placed it correctly, I've read the manual.
I have set CPU OC settings manually in BIOS after watching a video about it. Do you think screenshots below look right? For example, it seems the red indicator underuses CPU or am I wrong? It feels like I'm missing something. Here are manual settings: CPU core ratio: 45 (4.5 GHz), base clock is 3.7 GHz Core Voltage Control: Manual Voltage: 1.3V RAM (if necessary): DOCP, 1800 FCLK, 3600 MHz. I've not touched RAM timings yet. CPU is AMD Ryzen 9 5900X and motherboard is ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming.
It's much less safe than using the precision boost system with the SMU and LDO's in control of clocks+frequencies and it's also less performant on everyday tasks unless you're using extreme overclocking voltages which will break a daily system.
My 5900x PB r23 with the same 6 cores enabled is 8-10% higher than yours, i forgot the exact number but it's either around 12,400 or 12,600. With all cores enabled it's 23,552.
