I have exactly the same problem... My mouse is 1 year and 2 months old, just out of warranty, I was using it on many different computers without installing anything, always worked. Then today it just stopped...I changed batteries, plugged out, plugged in, didnt move. Tried on two other computers, when i plugged in it worked for ten seconds, then nothing.... everything but the cursor works. Then i everything you suggested - looked for the software for battery, but wasn't installed. I dont think it's logical that the problem is software, since it worked on all 3 computers just fine, and now it doesnt anymore, so it cant be something i installed / uninstalled on all three. I disassembled the mouse, cleaned the laser, assembled back, it still doesnt work.

Did you ever fix it? Im having the same dam problem with my R.A.T. 9 mouse. Stupid things cursor is MIA!

I searched a lot about problems with Cyborg RAT mouse cursor and couldn't find a lot of info about it on how to fix it or clean the laser. I own a Cyborg RAT 9 for a long time now and never had a problem with it until last week mouse cursor starting to freeze playing battlefield and after couple of days everytime I changed the battery the cursor stopped working. and was starting after few minutes. The laser on this mouse is super sensitive and wouldn't use any products on it myself so I tried my compressor to clean the lens and is working fine for the last 3 days. If you don't have one buy a can of compressed air to clean the lens and use it when you clean your mouse. I know is a very old topic but hope it helps in the future the ones owns a Cyborg RAT mouse.
P.S. Uninstalling the mouse and install it again will not change anything.

I have the same problem -> buttons work but sensor doesnt ... i didnt use the mouse since 1 week after not working but today I checked if it works again, the sensor worked for like 30 sec and stopped ... dont know what to do, does someone know now how its fixed? :/
