Also check this video I wish I would have realized it could be a pretty "simple" fix - I ended up just replacing the switch with one from another cheap mouse. (I also had a death adder that got warped so clicking the cover didn't trigger the switch properly... that one required some ingenuity to fix.) *actually, both razer mice belonged to a friend who let me keep them after fixing - no way I'd spend money on one after he had 2/3 broken ones* | ||

Making that part out of metal would make the peripherals last 5-10 years too long. My Razer mouse gave in sometime in the spring, I heated up pliers and reshaped the part. Once you get it right (, if you make the bit too high the mouse won't click at all,) it is almost as new. | ||

 .Download the firmware updater for the mouse and the dock. You can download the firmware : - Install the firmware updater, and after it is done, restart your computer and Manually launch the Firmware update program. Please go to Start > All Programs > Razer > Razer Mouse > Firmware updater Before clicking “Next”, un-plug the mouse and hold down the Left click, Right click and Scroll buttons at the same time. Now reconnect the mouse to the computer and after 5 seconds release the three buttons. Windows should detect a new USB device and the update should proceed.
