Black Screen/BSOD Intermittent

Hi,
I've been experiencing serious issues with my desktop in the past few days, the problem has been initially intermittent with the odd crash and stall but seemed to work out fine after the classic turning it off and on again.

Then i started to get the blue screen of death after having installed Skype on the desktop (I only used the desktop for games at first without any browsing or other software being installed due to the limited space provided by the solid state drive.) If I launched Skype I would immediately get this screen : + Show Spoiler +

I tried re-installing it several times but each time as soon as I would attempt to log in the same message occurred, personally i thought i could live without Skype no big deal. but after crashing in the middle of D3 i tried restarting the computer i got a black screen with the mouse cursor after the loading welcome message. Occasionally after a long time it starts up and works, but crashes within several hours, it starts loading for too long then i get this:+ Show Spoiler +

followed by a windows screen with all the icons and options missing. At the moment i get nothing but the black screen with the mouse cursor after the welcome login screen + Show Spoiler +

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, this issue comes at such a bad time since i've finished my exams and was hoping to just play sc2 ladder

Windows ultimate 64 bit
processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500k CPU @ 3.3 GHz
4gig RAM
GFX: Radeon HD 6850
power supply: antec 620W
Motherboard: gigabyte fc ga-z68ma-d2h-b3

EDIT: for some reason the pictures have come out weird.

Have you checked for driver updates?
I do not see your hardware having any problem with running what you do. How large is your SSD and how much free space does it have? If it's almost full you could probably get some errors from that. You could also try restoring windows to an earlier version, and as a last resort re-install windows completely.

The SSD is 120gig with 45gig left. Yea i'm waiting a bit before doing a re-install windows as it is my last resort.
