Starcraft 2 affecting audio quality

T.O.P. Hong Kong4685 Posts April 21 2012 15:48 GMT #1 I noticed that the audio quality of my music player gets significantly degraded when I start starcraft 2. When I close starcraft 2, the audio quality returns to normal. I would say the sound sounds un-full when starcraft 2 is open. I messed with various settings. None of them fixed the problem. That includes testing both 16 bit and 24 bit 44,100 Khz settings. The only thing that made starcraft 2 not affect the audio quality is enabling the Disable all sound effects option. I don't know why opening starcraft 2 enables a sound effect that causes audio degradation. Anyone have any clue?

T.O.P. Hong Kong4685 Posts April 21 2012 15:51 GMT #2 Ok, I just found a clue. After opening starcraft 2, if I change my audio mode to any of the settings here then it sounds right again.
