Hey, I'm having an issue where my YouTube player is completely black. + Show Spoiler [Screenshot] +
This happened after a BSoD yesterday. I tried to clear my cache, cookies, reinstalling adobe flash to no success. I tried IE, didn't work either. When I right-click the video, it says "movie not loaded". However, it only happens with YouTube.

I have this exact same problem, however, it wasn't after a BSoD. With Google Chrome I have the issue, with Firefox I do not.
Would be nice to know why

I also have just started to have this issue today, using Firefox. No prior crashes or anything of the sort, and the only website affected is youtube. Seems like it's actually something on their end.

Hmm, my friend was linking me videos to YouTube all night yesterday but I couldn't watch them. :|

Same problem with both Chrome and Firefox.

Try clearing your browser's cookies, history, and cache?

I did, forgot to say it though.

I also have this problem but I found a temporary fix. Just use https instead of http in the address bar.

I had this problem 2 weeks ago. I ran Ccleaner and it was fixed. Your problem seems to be somewhat different though. Please explain what you where doing when you got the BSOD and what it said.

same issue here with firefox and IE. I tried lots of suggested fixes but found it seems to be quite a common problem as of the last few days. So i think it's most likely to be a youtube problem and not a user problem.
So I would sit tight for the next few hours and see if it sorts itself. If you really need to see a youtube video now then there's temp fixes above that work.

I had this issue and made a thread yesterday: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=241107#17
You'll be able to find help in there, as well. Apparently it's actually an issue that Youtube is addressing and trying to fix. It occurred when the new Flash update came out. If you right-click the video, it should say "movie not loaded.."

im having this issue too. videos wont work in chrome/firefox but on ie they work fine

Experiencing the same issue all day, tried a load of work arounds and fixes including updating java/flash players, uninstalling, reinstalling them, resetting PC multiple times, clearing cache/history/everything under the sun. The only solution I've found to work is to manually change the youtube video's address to https instead of http, nothing else is working for me atm.
