Gom Player freeze after alt-tab

Sometimes I like to ladder SC2 or play some other games while watching the GSL stream, I would play games just listening to commentary of GSL and alt-tab when the stream gets interesting. (before a big fight)

But recently, everytime I alt-tab to the gom player from a full screen program (ie. sc2 or other games), the stream would freeze, and I have to restart the stream.

Anyone else have that problem?

Follow up question, how do you watch it on VLC. I used the addon which gives you the link to the stream, but when ever I insert it into VLC via "Open web stream", it always says the url does not work.

Sorry for bumping an old topic, but I have the same problem. I usually have the stream open in the background whilst playing games (in full-screen), and when I alt-tab back the stream is frozen (black screen, no audio). Is there any way to fix this besides re-starting the stream every time after I alt-tab?

if you set your SC2 to fullscreen windowed you will no longer have this problem

nowadays it stops while tabbing out AND in.
really no solution for this? it's incredibly annoying!

anyone find a solution? some games only have fullscreen mode so it sucks that gom player keeps freezing!

Run SC2 in windowed[fullscreen] mode when you intend to watch videos. Fixed it for me in MPC and GOM.

This is happening to me with any application that uses full-screen, some of which I can't just set to windowed/borderless. I really hope somebody has some sort of fix for this, sorry for bumping an old topic, but google doesn't seem to have the answers.
