I have adblock on except for sites I use. I have AVG as an anti-virus. I haven't had an ad pop up in forever. I always thought either chrome or Adblock would stop websites from making an ad pop up. | ||

If you mean a pop-up commercial in your browser's window, then it doesn't necessary mean anything. But you can always check to be sure with Anti-malware - install, update and run a threat scan, quarantine if it finds something. | ||

Chrome and Adblock try hard to block popups, but they aren't foolproof. If your browser is being hijacked (search results directing to somewhere unexpected, pages being redirected to e.g. advertisements) then there's probably malware present. | ||

I dont listen to FLACs or anything like that. Another question, probably not so simple: I have this motherboard with this RAM. I'm trying to get another 16 GB for it. I ordered another identical set of the RAM i have but it didnt work (never got to POST; just a red light in the motherboard near the ram). I was wondering which type or RAM miiiiight work with the motherboard/ram i have right now. | ||

I was wondering whats the best card currently around the $200-300 range that I can replace my card with. Before I make the upgrade, I came here to ask if anyone knows how to deal with a GPU making weird noises? sound like its hitting something but when I check the fan on the GPU, it doesn't appear to be hitting anything. | ||

http://www.ncix.com/detail/gigabyte-radeon-r9-280-oc-0b-98788-1310.htm?affiliateid=7474144 if you're going cheaper http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/parts/video-card/#c=142,186,167,152&sort=a7 ^that's just with 970, 290, 280 and 760 enabled. 280x is usually overpriced and the 285 is pretty bad (less vram than 280/280x, not better performance and 2GB vram will be limiting in the lifespan of the gpu) 760 is an ok choice if you want nvidia, it just doesn't make much sense to take a 285 when the 280 is right next to it | ||

I was planning to go to canadacomputers.com (the store itself) and purchase a card tomorrow. I think 280 will fit the bill since its just a bit over $315. Everything else is way over. | ||

I want to make sure it is compatible with Wind. I know the phone comes unlocked, but I want sure it supports the necessary bands. I found out that Wind uses AWS, with bands 1700/2100Mhz. I used this wiki entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AWS_devices ... And my current phone (Galaxy Nexus), and Nexus 5, are both on it. Is it therefore safe to assume there will be no compatibility issues? Would really appreciate some help or confirmation!  | ||

Seems like my " Automatically set my stream online / offline" has been grayed out since I have not streamed in 4 weeks. How can I activate this feature again? As I will begin streaming normally once again. Thanks. | ||
