I will be taking it with me everywhere & it needs to be able to handle Adobe Creative Cloud programs Don't care about playing games on it (as long as it can handle BW). Reliability is probably my number one concern. What laptops should I check out?

Ideally you want some business-class notebook with a modern i7. These tend to have sturdier hardware and more validation testing, often so much so that they're several months late on adopting current-generation CPUs. For example, Lenovo Thinkpad T / W series haven't been upgraded to Haswell (4th gen Core) processors yet.

Whether or not you need that processing power or not is something only you know though.

That means all my temporary files are also moved and I don't have to worry about random temp caching writes to my SSD right? (Also I've reduced page file, changed the defrag task to run without the $ parameter, and disabled hibernation. Anything I'm forgetting?)

I think what you're forgetting is that you bought the SSD for things to get faster. If it's not used, it can't do its job of making things faster. On Windows 8, about that defrag tool, it should look like this: http://i.imgur.com/eIiMJzU.png If it does not look like that for you, your Windows 8 does not know about your new drive being an SSD, you need to click this: http://i.imgur.com/s6lzjfw.png

Best (fastest) 2TB HD for a desktop. SSD are suppose to be faster, but I also hear they are more prone to crashes- is that true? My primary focus is on Video game play and recording all on max settings. I run a I7-4770 @ 3.4 16Gig ram @2133 clock GTX titan 1ms gtg Moniter Want to make sure my new HD doesn't slow me down Looking for advice and potential products. Price isn't a factor. Reliability, consistency, and capability are. Thanks Edit: I am currently using a 120GB SSD to run windows/Anti Virus software While using a non dynamic Sata 6 3TB HD for all programs and applications. What are the consequences of dynamic vs non dynamic HDs Want to find a 2TB HD to add to my system.

If you are recording than you want a 2TB Caviar Black for the recording drive and than an SSD or another HDD for your primary drive. thanks for the answer, by chance do you know/can you explain: What are the consequences of dynamic vs non dynamic HDs Also why use SATA for recording over SSD?
