Take with grain of salt. My list would go something like this: Tier 1: MSI, ASUS - RMA centers in Canada, Twin Frozr and DirectCU are excellent heatsinks, standard 3 year warranty. Tier 2: EVGA - Excellent support, some would argue the best in the video card industry. Lots of perks like StepUp program, Advanced RMA, and option to pay for extended warranty. Tier 3: Gigabyte - Windforce heatsink is excellent and cards are typically clocked higher than the previously mentioned three. Lots of people generally consider them to be on par if not better than ASUS and/or MSI. Only reason why I won't consider them over EVGA, MSI, and ASUS is that their RMA center is in California. Might not be as bad if you're living in a western province or if you don't care. Tier everyone else: - Sapphire has great products but they outsource RMA - HIS outsources RMA. - XFX, beyond terrible support. - No negative or positive comments on Powercolor or Visiontek. When I turn the power button on, for about 5 seconds it shows me options for my mobo (boot menu, bios, etc.), then they windows symbol comes up on a black screen for about 1-2+ minutes, then after a while it goes to desktop.

Did you install Windows with only the SSD plugged in and no other drives? If not then you probably need to re-install with only the SSD plugged in. Also benchmark your SSD (with something like AS SSD) to ensure that its not faulty.

I can't seem to get into my bios. The SSD is the only drive plugged in.

BIOS is accessed with the delete key typically, refer to the manual as to what key it is and just keep spamming it after you restart / hit the power button. Okay, I tried hitting the delete key several times, but I'll try spamming it. I'll get back to you in a mo, thanks for the help so far ![]() update: AHCI is indeed on. After booting it up several times, it seems to run faster. After I installed all the chipsets and drivers, it seems to boot up in about 5 seconds. Thanks for the help!

I always watch Twitch streams on 1080p and have been crashing or freezing on streams that advertise themselves at 60 FPS. I have this same problem when I watch a high quality Youtube video on Original Quality (higher than 1080). I'll list my specs below. Is there a bottleneck? I'm not very knowledgeable about this stuff. Thanks in advance! Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz 6 GB (3 x 2 GB) DDR3 PC3-10600 AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series Download speed >11Mbps from Speedtest.net

You might try searching for the newest graphics card driver, and make sure Windows Update has updated to its latest stuff. Also look into Adobe Flash being updated, or use Google Chrome as it comes with its own Flash and updates that by itself.

Your CPU is also pretty good still. You might try searching for the newest graphics card driver, and make sure Windows Update has updated to its latest stuff. Also look into Adobe Flash being updated, or use Google Chrome as it comes with its own Flash and updates that by itself. First it freezes, then after a minute or so it blue screens. I know that the Pegatron IPMTB-TK motherboard used in my HP Pavilion elite 9150t was from a defective line but I don't know if 60fps streams would be affected by that. I used Windows Device Manager to update my video card driver and it said I have the best driver installed. And I am up to date on windows updates.

Okay, I just figured out that the crash only happens on Youtube and it's because Original quality can be in a resolution that my computer doesn't have. So that's a different thing from my freeze on 60fps streams. I am not currently crashing on 60fps, just freezing.
