Main email doesn't work here?

I had to sign up for TL on an alternate e-mail, when I attempted to sign up on(Edited e-mail out) it said the name already existed, when I tried to login with that e-mail or have a password resent it said "That e-mail does not exist" or obviously the old "The username or password don't match."

I use the same password for a lot of programs so it's usually easy for me to figure stuff out.

An issue with this, I had gmail since it came out in beta. I've been a heavy RTS player so I don't know if I created a User name/Password 5-7 years ago and if TL was around back then either. I'm also thinking about becoming a pro gamer, I've actually played a lot of high level players back in SC1 when I was much younger.

So that just leaves me curious =o what should I do? I'd prefer to get my old name back if possible if it exists. And does anyone know how this could have happened?

Can't help, but I'd edit out that email ASAP for hopefully obvious reasoning.

I edited the e-mail =/ Thanks I was hoping I could at least trust TL >.>

I wouldn't say it's that you can't trust TL, but people scan websites they don't visit normally for address in the form of an email. You don't have to be registered on the site to view TL threads/forums .
