The APM thing is really gimmicky and if you really care about your current APM in a game just download SC2Gears. 2) Yes, they are some, Blackwidow Ultimate from Razer for example. | ||

You should definitely look for some mechanical keyboards if you want to upgrade, and it seems to be within your price range. Once you get a mechanical keyboard you like ill assure you that you will never go back. :D | ||

Its the shit, spaced out keys, very comfortable and its heavy so it doesnt move around. Keys are easy to press and its very accurate since everything is nice and spaced out. All that aside, the lighting on this fucker is incredible. My macro has gotten so much better with it. Why you ask? In the preferences for the keyboard you can set what alerts you want the keyboard to flash at you. You can pick the color as well. For example my set up Unit finished training: 2 yellow blinks(this is worth the whole damn keyboard itsself) I can macro in perect waves because everytime my units finish my keyboard blinks and lets me know its time to produce more. Under attack: 2 Purple blinks Upgrade complete 2 Green blinks(hello timing attack) The APM lighting is meh, It can be useful sometimes at monitoring my apm and stuff but I tend to kind of not worry about that. | ||

My faults with it on day one is that I keep hitting multiple keys at trh (<--- example) ... *aherm* THE same time. All and all I think it's a cool keyboard.The back lighting is so cool, and it solves the problem of me wanting to play in the dark (as I still look at the keyboard as I type). finger prints galore. I think it's a 10 though, really there is nothing bad about this keyboard besides what needs getting used too. It's sturdy,carries weight, and sharp. Definitely can be used to attack an intruder lol. I feel like I made a quality purchase. It's kind of one of those things that you don't want to shell out on but when you do you feel very satisfied. Like a good winter jacket or something. this will make my mom proud. Thanks for everyone in the thread who helped me out ! | ||
