You don't need an aftermarket heatsink if you aren't overclocking. If noise is a concern than you need a much better case such as a Fractal Design R3.
Never heard of PSF so I doubt that's a wise choice of a power supply...
And the motherboard is not capable of SLI nor is the power supply btw. If you want to do SLI sometime in the future, you are going to need a P67 or Z68 board (I don't think there are any H67 SLI boards) and a ~650w power supply.

Pentagram is a well known Polish company. They've been sponsoring our progamers for a long time so it's good to support them back I think. PSU in question: http://www.pentagram.eu/products/tuning_pc/power_supplies/pentagram_silent_force_psf_460_p12s_p_9003_1
Thanks for the advice. I guess I'll review the build once more in order to optimize it further (I think I'll drop the SLI idea for now, this should shave off some expenses).

Well, if you consider companies like Cooler Master, Thermaltake, Mushkin, Gigabyte, Enermax, etc. well known, they release plenty of bad power supplies. That unit has no APFC, which is generally a strong indication that it's a pretty cost-cut low-end PSU.
It's not like it's Pentagram doing the manufacturing, and it's usually not the label doing the design work either.

Still only like $13 in savings though, so not really worth it I guess. They don't pricematch from what I'm aware? Anyways, if you were going to pricematch you should use microcenter, which usually has it for $179.
Taken from their FAQ:
Do you Price Match? TigerDirect.com will only price match an item at the time of the sale. The item must be in the same condition, in stock and not sold below our cost. This must be done by calling 800-800-8300, cannot be done over the web.
And you're right, but from my experience sites will only price match retailers that have a product in stock and ready to ship; the i5 2500k is only available for in-store pickup on Microcenter.

Low end cards do not require a PCIe connector, the power is all provided by the PCIe slot.

If you want to deal with mail in rebates than it's a good choice, other options include the Antec High Current Gamer 520: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371047 and Antec Neo Eco 520: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371030
The Samsung Spinpoint F3 is not cheap, it's averagely priced just like all the other 7200 RPM HDDs (Seagate Barracuda, Caviar Blue). Only the Caviar Black carries a premium due to its five year warranty and slight performance advantage.
The EVGA GTX 560 Ti -AR is $250, not $225. I hope you know that the price after mail in rebate is not included in your checkout total.

Case is personal preference so pick whichever you like. Most mid-tower cases have adequate space so you don't really need a full tower case like the HAF 932 unless you plan on keeping it forever and adding a dozen HDDs or doing a multi-GPU setup sometime down the road.
Jingle has the Lanboy and I'm sure he'll share his experiences and thoughts about the case when he gets the chance to read your post. Some inexpensive cases that come to mind that I would recommend would be the Coolermaster HAF 912, Coolermaster Advanced 690ii, and Fractal Design R3.

The difference between high end and low end thermal paste is almost negligable. You can save 7 dollars if you get the 5 dollar stuff

Oh, interesting. I'll start purchasing from Tigerdirect more often to bypass taxes then^.

btw the Hyper 212 Plus comes with thermal paste. You don't need an extra tube, though it could be handy one day. Certainly it won't make a significant impact (more than a couple/few degrees) on temperatures).
Fractal Design also has the Arc and Core 3000 if you want something geared more towards airflow than low noise (though it's not loud either, especially if using the included fan controller). Silverstone TJ08-E is a nifty microATX case at $100 now. Pretty much any tower at this price point is overkill for cooling though, so just go with whatever you think looks good and works fine for you.

Fractal design Arc is quite nice, I have a friend who used it in a build. Visually it's not anything special but many people like that. It's just a good case.
It seems to be a really good price for the lanboy air though. I considered buying one before and it was basically the price that held me back. If you like the look of it, it's a good deal I'd say.

Yeah, I was surprised too. I tried looking around for US based sites that would price match after I saw the Fry's ad this morning. I guess you could try to see if they'd price match Microcenter, but if not they should price match Fry's, for this particular item, anyway.
While the topic is back on cases a bit, I wanted to ask what you guys thought of the IN-WIN BUC. It's $70 at Fry's after mail in rebate now.
I've been looking at cases the last few days, and wanted to keep something similar in size to my current case, if just because I like the size aesthetically. I managed to pull up the dimensions of my current case out of curiosity to compare with others: (W)8.86"x(D)21.26"x(H)18.23". It does seem to be a relatively large case, so even if the space (and a bit of money) is wasted, I will probably end up going with something larger.
If not the HAF X, what would you guys recommend in the slightly higher end range? After looking around a bit, I'm kinda leaning on the 600T, but I'd like to see what you guys think.

@spybreak: If you want decent cable management in the usual sorts of way, you do NOT want a Lanboy Air. If you check my blog, I did a full review of building in it. Aside from multi-GPU setups, it's only slightly above average on cooling, and for noise it's slightly below average stock, but not too insane.
It's got nifty gimmicks that are implemented like shit, and it's a pain in the ass to build in.
That said, it's got amazing multi-GPU cooling, and if you like the look, it can't be beat for that look. It's particularly badass with a tower cooler with extra LED fans on it and a Sunbeam Rheobus fan controller. (Unless you don't like that look, at which point it's basically this bright blue insult to your eyes.)
Simple version: I like it, but know what you're getting into or you very well may not like it as much as me. Oh, and at the ShellShocker+Rebate price of $100, you basically get the case for what it's worth based on purely quantifiable stuff, so don't think it's such a great deal. The intangibles of sexy factor and gimmick usefulness determine if it's worth more than that.
Sorry I didn't get back faster, my sister and nieces are in town, been a rather psychotic day.

Thanks guys!
I still haven't decided what case to buy but I'll pick 2-3 tonight then I'll sleep on it. Hopefully tomorrow I make up my mind on how much to spend.

Corsair 600T/650D (they're exactly the same internally) are pretty cool cases...easy to work in, looks pretty cool, good build quality, etc. They're not really "mid-towers" though...when Corsair claims that they've got as much working room as a full tower, its because they're holy fuck huge and not because they're particularly well designed.
Also, it is easier to cool smaller cases than larger cases for obvious reasons. You should buy a chassis that is the right size for your parts and needs instead of going for something so big.

Hi SkyR the build you recommended me was great I bought all the parts and i love this machine it's great, thanks for all your help.
So I have a friend who wants to build a new PC and wants me to help him. So I was wondering if I could be recommended a good build for him. His budget is around 600-700 dollars. He'll be using it for gaming and general web browsing nothing too intense. His upgrade cycle will probably be around 3-4 years and we plan on building it within the next week or two. He does need an operating system. The site we'll probably be using is ncix.com
Thanks for your help.
