Hi everyone, sorry for making another thread about this opt in thing, but I logged into my battlenet account thing today and noticed that a little logo has been added that was not there before
As you can see there is a small Starcraft 2 logo next to beta preferences.
Does everyone have that? or is it possibly an indicator I've been accepted into the beta?
Thanks in advance.

EDIT: lol at everyone instantly thinking Im lieing. I swear to god I am not however. If anyone can tell me a way to prove its legit, then please let me know.

Haha, ok then, mystery solved. Thanks everyone. I wasnt sure if I should be running around in joy or not and I wanted to check before I set myself up for a huge letdown
Godamn haha, got me so excited for a moment, figured I'd check TL before I went to bed and saw that, thought the beta may have inadvertently started or something.

Only for teasing us I think. Esp those people in Korea ;p Anyway I'm making a screenshot.

HTTPS connections are usually slow. "S" stands for SECURE.
god just staring at this sc2 beta icon in my account is making me just wanna play so freaking bad..... why did they have to do another thing to indicate beta.. -___-
I don't think it means anything. Calm down everyone. Don't get so exited about everything with 'SC2 Beta' written over it. It links to the Beta Profile Settings, so it will most likely be icon to manage your Beta Settings. Nothing more. As they said, they are very very close to beta. Whatever that means.
I am going to cry rivers of joy if this means I'm in. I got the icon too, but then again, since I'm in Japan maybe it thinks I'm Korean. Bitch, I'm whiter that sushi rice!
I have been refreshing for hours and doesn't show up for me,_, no 3rd beta key ftl. Anyway what happens if you change your Beta Profile settings to an other game ?
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, I don't tried both in IE & Firefox and refreshed about 200times. Why O.O? If its really nothing shouldn't everyone get it? Also the logo says SCII while when you go to your settings you can choose for three.

Try clearing your browser cache. The exact process will be depend on which browser you use, but is always relatively simple. If you clear your cache and it's still not there, then perhaps there is actually some value to it.
I had the image without any refreshing upon my first visit to kr.battle.net. Until other people claim to not have it, I'm assuming everyone does.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i dont think you guys have to worry!!!! i got the logo too after clicking it and refreshing and deleting my cache and cookies, the logo disappeared not get excited, lol just keeping checking your email though >_>

Yea but it could be photoshoped like this one i made
Zab its real.... Just probably means nothing. I'm guessing someone is/was working on a css document over at blizz and accidentaly saved it as the one already in use...doh!
I logged into kr.battle.net and didn't have it... so I refreshed, and it appeared! Then I refreshed again and it was gone... then I refreshed again and there it was again!
Conclusion: it doesn't mean anything at this point
Guys it doesn't mean anything. I logged into my account on the korean website and I got the little logo and I don't even have any games attached to my account.
Uhm, kinda offtopic, but since I see that coming up again and again.. If you get the 403 whenever you go to battle.net google battle.net and click on the cache link. Works for me.
From all the screens and stuff it looks like everybody with atleast 3 games has the logo, I however (still don't have probably never will) only have sc:bw in my list.

I just have BW and it's on mine with kr.battle.net
Ok so instead of everyone saying: "I HAVE IT!!!" or "OH SNAP I DONT HAVE IT" its there for a lot of people on kr.battle.net (including me; after the initial disappointment of going to us.battle.net ).
SOO what do you think this means? I know we heard that the beta opt-in would go away on the 19th and there was some speculation that the beta was coming June 22 (monday). You think this is evidence that we're at least weeks away?
ook people this is one big miscommunication some poeple are talking just about the link others are talking about really inside their accounts. Pretty much everyone can see just the picture when you click on the kr.battle.net/picture link.
6 pages for a little image on the korean battle.net site that eventually will lead to pretty much nothing. I am amazed by so many statements in this and different forums about Blizzard trying to hype the game so much, yet people pickup and rant over the smallest of things.
It may or may not mean anything, but I tied all my hopes to press conference since BlizzCon 2009 will most probably be mostly about Diablo 3 and new MMO.

I've been thinking about that. The press conference could be about the beta, or it could turn out to be something to the nature of them officially releasing the already leaked Battle Report 3- to which I would flip shit.
All this does is link to the page where you choose which betas you want to be considered for. I don't think it does anything else. It shows the sc2 icon b/c that is the next beta that will occur. Still, pretty cool to see (:
What that "class='beta-optin'" text is referring to is what style the button is using. It's just a visual change, so it probably doesn't mean much other than the web team sprucing up the web site a bit.
Everyone can see it so it definitely doesn't mean anything special for the account, but hopefully it's a sign they're actively working on final preparations?

I have already been disappointed the last two weeks
Ya, I think it's up for everyone on the us version now too, but again, it's just a link to change your beta option settings. Even if you don't have the beta opt-in checked the link is still there.
