TL.net ESPORTS 4 Posts November 15 2023 21:48 GMT #1 2022-23 ESL Pro Tour - Open Cups: Week #201 (November 13th) by Wax Week #200 of the ESL Open Cups may have offered a number of upsets, but it was back to business as usual in Week #201 as we got the familiar winners' trinity of Clem, MaxPax, and one of [Dark/herO/Cure/ByuN/Solar]. That Korean winner happened to be Cure this time around, going through Oliveira, herO and ByuN on his way to the week's championship. The EU server cup saw MaxPax and Clem face off in the finals for the 16th time this year, with Clem coming out victorious to extend his series lead to 10-6. There was potential for a MaxPax-Clem rematch on the American server, but Clem missed his date with the Dane after losing to ByuN in the RO8. ByuN ended up being the one to face MaxPax in the finals, but lost 1-3 to his fellow online cup powerhouse. In the non-ESL Cups, Solar won Kung Fu Cup Winter #7 (3-1 vs Clem in the finals), while herO won KSL #34 (3-0 vs NightMare).
