And trying to peg them as animals is just a stupid attempt to go against the grain, they have goddamn larvae, they look like bugs on every level, they have a goddamn hivemind and they work like something that resembles an anthill or a beehive. Sure they modify themselves via evolution and take the best ATTRIBUTES from other species but that doesn't suddenly change the fact that their initial form is a larvae which morphs into a bug. Even if that bug has been given the fangs of a lion or whatever doesn't make it any less of a bug. | ||

And everyone should be as whiny as it's fricking possible, about every little, minor thing he finds bad or simply not good enough. That's why Blizzard is asking us for our opinion, about every single little detail we've seen in the game so far. *EVERYTHING* They won't cry because someone said he doesn't like the way lings look, they'll take that opinion into consideration. They don't need you to thank them for how great they are doing a sequel, you'll thank them by buying the game once it comes out. Therefore - the new ling looks like shit. They can make it look better like they did with the Terran tank, bah, I'm sure they will. | ||

However, I suppose I can agree that the demon-puppy-with-butterfly-wings design could use some modification. I'd prefer it were something a bit more sleek and bony. A Zergling that makes me think more of an efficient meat-grinder and less of a fat, playful, four-legged grub.  | ||
