Some of you may have heard of it since 1 or 2 weeks but there are currently some VERY high mmr account appearing in the ladder
Today they entered the GM league and they looks very strange to say the least...

This kind of very high mmr is unheard of and would be likely impossible to reach under normal circumstances. To give you an idea of how absurd this mmr is, here is a twit from marinelord showing that a 1k mmr difference give +3 pts : https://twitter.com/MarineLorDSC2/status/1122581438606475264?s=20
Now imagine with a +2k mmr difference...
This would not even be possible to do alone as I remember seing parting winning 0 pts after winning vs someone 1k5 mmr below him
So there are 2 possibility : it's either a bug abuse or an account network win trading between them
It is theorically possible to reach this mmr with the second possibility, but for something of this magnitude it would require a lot of time, accounts and an automated system to win trade between all of these accounts during weeks. It would require so much accounts that it would be like a "second ladder" way above the normal one with hundred of accounts
It seems unrealistic to me as it would be something noticable since a long time
Imo it's likely a bug abuse
There are also a lot of strange things if we take a closer looks at the other stats : ascension lvl 1 000 (and trust me it takes A LOT of times, something like a thousand hours of playtime), all achievements...etc
There is also something strange with the number of games not being the same depending of which profile page you're looking at (91 vs 66 Terran games for example in the 2 pictures below)

Terran career games : 66
When I tried to find these account on https://www.nephest.com/sc2/?#stats I noticed that all these account are names "lllllllllllll" except one named...Gangsterpig xd

This is old news, there is someone wintrading accounts and then bot leaving custom matches so ppl cant find their rank match history. Zoun said on stream that this guy is a maphacker as well. and yes this guy has over 100 accounts just wintrading

Why not?I find this pretty funny considering how some people value the league and MMR stuff. But I don't play the game anymore 
I wonder how this can be going for so long though. Like what metrics does Blizzard use to detect wrong stuff? Their horrible anti-cheat reputation is really well deserved.

It's just a twitch chat gm finally doing some laddering. Always knew their MMR was near 10k.

On Neeb's stream, Special claimed to be one of these 9k+ MMR accounts.

Fuck only knows, to me there are levels of cheating, from the ‘I don’t like it but it’s a dog eat dog world’ variety like buying a cheap penalty in football, through the ‘do you actually think you’re good, what are you getting out of this?’ variety of say, maphacking to ‘what is the fucking point of this?’ like glitching out a ladder.
At least there’s only a few of them, I’ve gone back for old times sake to see where I was on old leaderboards and I have no idea because there’s uncountable impossible identical glitches scores filling up all the ranks.
