I made a fun project where I improve my minimap awareness by electrocuting myself for not looking at the minimap often enough. Enjoy.

After this brilliant demonstration I'm sure all the starcraft teams will be making you offers to buy this software to improve their training regimens. As for positive reinforcement instead of negative reinforcement you could hook this up to something other than a shockwatch--not totally sure what. An IV dispensing drugs? But maybe that's not immediate enough.

That was actually really entertaining, I guess yeah that probably makes you look at the minimap more often which is good... but attention is also a resource, if you started looking at the minimap every 10secs because you have too then I actually think that would make you a worse player and not a better one.

The fact that you can't move the minimap was always a major flaw in SC2. Notifications and the interface should have been as customizable as WoW's UI.

Just need this watch(?) and ofc the code! Would you mind to provide your code? [sic]

Would do some small changes regarding the time period watched at the minimap as well as add pre-tazers and the whole macro cycle places in correct order to it! (minimap, minerals, gas, supply and middle bar at the bottom to check for the production.

it's easier to put the supply and resource at the bottom left, close to minimap
or completely redesign the dashboard to use the right or left side of the 16 : 9 or wider screen so the game area is taller

edit: 16 space : space 9 -.-
