Hello, TL, I just wanted to share some good games I found recently. Crank does a lot of interesting things, and this time, he did an offrace match Maru vs Dark. A lot of you guys probably didn't know this bc the title and commentary are in Korean.
I gotta say, the whole thing was hilarious, and it's a shame that there aren't english subltitles so more of us can understand.

A bit of a spoiler, but Dark loses to maru's zerg, Dark gets triggered, asks for rematch(s) and keeps on getting stomped. In the interview, Dark complains that maru's offrace 400 apm is just not fair.
Also, Crank said when he was still active, he met maru protoss, and he was better than Alicia. Crank still won, but then maru asked something like: hey mister sorry for bothering you, but what should I do in this and this scenario? and Crank thought like: what's up with this guy? why would you care about PvP meta, you're terran!
Dark playing Terran? I've sporadically watched Dark stream. He sometimes offraces. His Terran isn't very good at all. It's so far from his Protoss and Zerg that you wouldn't think him a pro player if you only watched his Terran. Sure, I haven't watched it in the last few months, but I have a hard time believing Dark improved that much during that time.

Maru had good offraces but he only looks like a god as Terran, thankfully he plays it so we can watch his amazing gameplay. I watched some of their ZvT this series and Dark struggles with pickup micro

Specials offrace is pretty bad, as far as I know. Reynors Terran, Lambos Protoss and Showtimes Zerg are pretty good as well. So I gues it is not realy a thing, that Players from one specific race are generally better than other with their of race

I can guarantee you most Korean Terrans are worse offrace players than Dark because they don't play nearly as much as him. Maru is a pretty significant outlier because he's gone to 6400 MMR and higher on his offraces (Protoss being his better one).

BTW MC had a pretty stellar Terran, so good, people actually used his Terran skill to practice on a high level. Many mentioned his Terran as just slightly weaker than his P.

this would lower the overall skill level of all players as well as encourage people to practice only single timing-based builds and cheeses instead of macro play

Long time ago Millenium's caster Llewellys organised a very small EU tournament where the looser of the previous map choose which race the other player had to play for the next map (while he stick to the race he was himself playing the previous map). Most of the series finished with 3-2 if I remember well. It was lots of fun but not played at a very high level of play.
I can't remember when it was, but I believe Feast was playing for Millenium at that time.
