As most of you, I was impressed by this: https://www.teamliquid.net/forum/starcraft-2/544624-once-saw-inno-live-tvz-the-opponents-a-movement topic.
While reading it I’ve realized that around 20 years ago, when I started to play Starcraft, our company (I’m russian speaking person) has developed or heard from other players some slang names for different units.
While it’s not so fun as Chinese version, I’d like to share them here and ask different countries to add some of their own sc-related slang words in a similar format:
Carrier - banana OR bread (technically, the second version is spelled “baton”, and represents a type of bread in an ex-USSR territory, here’s screenshot on how it look: http://prntscr.com/n1xu67)
Marine - Marina (women name)
Zerglings - dogs
Brood lord - crab
Viper - dragonfly
Voidray - warmer OR bed warmer (trying to translate as close as possible)
Mothership - mama
Spine crawler - whip
Ultralisk - elephant
I’m neither been following any big russian-speaking community, nor listening to local streams, so any additions to my list will be appreciated as well.

Korea uses the localized/official names pretty much, but it's fun to note that Marauder was localized as "Grizzly" / brown bear.

in my neighborhood we called Archons "clouds", altho I've heard 'snowflakes' from other Croats like Ptak iirc.

corsairs = assburners xD

For the italian, only ones I can think of right now are "mammaship" (but this one seems to be universal) and "muccalisca" (cow-alisk) for the ultralisk.

There were some slangs for some BW units that are equivalent for SC2 units.

Guinea pig is marsu in Finnish. As a side note a more common slang meaning for marsu is the Marshall amplifier. No idea what that lactarius might be.
