I also assume that there would be a limit to one decal allowed on the map at a time, like the standard in those other games. yeah, makes sense. But what's even the point of drawing a decal on the map ? To show something in team games ?

I'd assume they disappear after a bit or that there's a limit to them... Or the next level strat of using decals to obfuscate widow mines could be a thing.

And hopefully it gives Blizzard a reason to expand on the decal collection.
At least it's just limited to official decals so we won't get distracting boobs like in some other games.

For BM/Fun, same reasons you have sprays/taunts in other games.

Nice, sounds like progress!

everything looks neat, except that spray decal thing. I guess I can live with that if it's limited to one at a time per map. The rest looks sick.

I feel like I'm just a grumpy bastard because literally all of this makes me think "what's the point." I personally just don't give a shit about cosmetics in any game. Yeah I know, I said I feel like a grumpy bastard.
Realistically though people love shit like this, it will make them money. So if I'm being optimistic hopefully that will keep them interested in continuing to work on/support/patch the actual game itself. It's probably a good thing.

looks like blizz is making a bank from these.
I'm not happy for microtransactions for a paid game, but the only thing i'm buying are new commanders. I couldn't care less about skins and voicepacks.

I don't give a flying f either, but people have been very voiceful about how this kind of stuff was a wet dream of their, and the more people are happy with sc2, the better it is from my point of view.
