Would've been cool, but this is... eh... a SC2 expansion launch event, and we know Morhaime's position on BW
And honestly, if they didn't sit down and practice for weeks for this one showmatch (which would kinda be a waste of time for them), I think a BW showmatch could be kinda disappointing. There are great active BW players and tons of FlaSh vs JD BW vods to watch.

Nada is getting married.
I'd use that but I don't trust staff at my university to know NaDa.
lmfao the english translation/commentary of the wedding was initially very awkward; english commentators saying "idk how to commentate a wedding" / "i don't know who his new wife is"

Oh no
well, we have sound... just not the right sounds...
and neither do they.
I think that they gave us the music only and not the microphone. And then they fixed it by giving us the microphone which was recording the music too so we had music for the stream and musisc from the event with the singer.
It was a nice idea but they haven't thought it through properly
I think the sound was fine at the event. The production just tried to play the music directly into our ears instead of picking the sound up from the event <.< didn't quite work out the way they intended...

Wolf and Valdes were at Blizzcon.
Don't understand how they were at Blizzcon but not get to be on the couch or casting...
wolf never gets any respect at these events, despite having cast more SC2 games than anyone alive.
Respect for sheer quantity over quality? There's not one caster in the blizzcon lineup he deserved to be ahead of
It is not a fact, it is a personal perspective matter, my opinion he does much better job than both Nat and Rotterdam or Apollo.

Apollo was not that good during Blizzcon though, if he's the best that's sad

What is the point of the girl casting? "I'm not familiar with this map" "The marauders..I mean Reapers are going to die.." .."This is Flash...This is Flash...This is Flash."

I enjoy tears of people who suffer english casting.

Mech on steroids with this speed of units. Uhhh.... I hope this is just because JD is bad lately and Flash is actually good player and the game is new to them.
On November 09 2015 21:19 Elentos wrote: I feel like the only reason Flash didn't just kill him was because this is a showmatch.
I get the same feeling, usually Flash would have just pushed and won
To be fair JD wanted to show off the new units that happen to be terrible vs what Flash is doing. So if this was not a showmatch, JD would've probably done something differently.

Well he was supposed to join them after the last year I think, but changed his mind afaik. But JD promised he will end his career in Korea, so I think he will end up at JAGW at some point.

Yeah liberators don't have splash vs ground units, but they're more versatile and efficient than tanks. I feel like their air to ground shouldn't be 80 damage a shot or whatever it is.

It just gets so expensive on the gas. Plus you need a lot of hellions/hellbats for support because both units are aweful against zerglings.

for those of you saying this wedding isn't intimate blah blah that's how korean weddings are. I got married in korea (to a korean; I'm a white dude from Canada) and weddings are usually 30 mins long plus 30 mins of pics. everyone (from other weddings on other floors included) all pile into a huge hall for a buffet. no real reception etc. mostly for parents friends to give money to each other (I'll give you money at your daughters wedding you give me at mine too). some just show up to give cash then leave. most people are in and out in under 90 mins including food (BTW weddings are usually around lunch time. ours was at 5 pm which was the last slot for the day)
so yeah this ceremony was probably the only one they'll have and it looked pretty standard to me (not everyone dressed up, people milling around talking during the ceremony etc.)
I just wish I had some cheesy event like this at MY wedding!
Really curious how NaDa's wedding + LotV launch party was organised.
Blizzard pays for NaDa's wedding (and/or some money) in exchange for using his reputation (despite having little to do with SC2, as he just streams BW)??
I think it was Afreeca that organised this. They get NaDa to have his wedding streamed (as a sort of thank you since he gets money from streaming on Afreeca) and since they take over GSL they also got the okay from Blizzard to do the LotV launch event. It's really good publicity for Afreeca imo.

It's just his haircut making his face look more round. He's been getting bigger no doubt, but I would say it's more of him getting older and more mature than getting 'fatter'.
