This thread reminds me on how little I know about the foreign SC 2 scene... players outside korea basically became completely irrelevant in the past 6 months.

Actually, except maybe Bunny, they all look capable of weak play a tad too often. Zergs are kind of out of the picture with the actual meta, Terrans are non existent bar two, and Protosses are no match with the level of play of the like of PartinG, Stats, herO, Rain, Classic, Zest...

If I've learned one thing from the past five years of Starcraft its that Sen should always make the top 5 of these lists.
IMO
Snute, Sen Bunny ??? HuK :p

I follow a lot the foreign sc2 scene. You know, it is the same feeling than cheering for your hometown football club. Even if you know it is not the best one, you still support it and hope for a bright future

I think Ret deserves some love for how he's been playing recently

He would still be behind the players I cited above, overall. Despite his hugely impressive performance.

Snute, Sen Bunny ??? HuK :p I wish this were still true, but Sen is lazy and passionless. I love the guy to bits and he's amazing as well as talented, but yeah.

*on the occasion that they actually show up and play their best. A tragically common NA problem. **specific mention to say that I think these are the two players to watch out for the most in 2016. They seem to exhibit amazing potential, and I feel like they're just on the cusp of transforming into absolutely dominant forces in the foreign scene. Right now they both suffer from some consistency issues, especially Serral in offline environments.
Some honorable mentions to Kelazhur and GunGFuBanDa, because I think they're going to be some salutorians to Lilbow and Serral's validictorians in 2016.
Shout outs to HuK, TLO, and MaNa for sticking around as long as they have and having as many resurgences so many years apart, and just generally having recognizable in-game styles while still performing in the top 20 for at least a sizable portion of each year. I didn't mention any Chinese players, because I find them really hard to rank, since a lot of their games seem to be predicated on cheesy bullshit. Sometimes they'll beat a Taeja with some nasty Phoenix-Colossus abortion that should never have been designed to be viable in Starcraft, other times they'll lose to a weird 2010 Marine-Tank push that I feel they were plenty skilled enough to hold. I'm pretty sure that Jim, Iasonu, and Toodming would make the list if I understood their play more and saw them play against other foreigners more often than just a few series every year. Macsed and Sen are also likely placers, at the very least if the list was extended to 20. Additional shoutouts to Naniwa and Happy, who will probably never break into the upper echelon of foreign players again, but are both likely to make some good runs in tournaments and sneak into the 10-20 placings pretty frequently.
