I think Dreamhack Open means on stage open tournament where everyone can join and play (like open qualifier). For example, they do not even mention HoN in the source article. But in this news page in there official website (the same website), it says they will do HoN tournament in Dreamhack Summer: http://www.dreamhack.se/dhs15/2015/03/03/heroes-of-newerth-is-back-at-dreamhack/

Then I think what they means might be: there will be no BYOC (on stage) open qualifier in the events like Dreamhack Summer and Dreamhack Winter. But you can imagine there are still online qualifiers, right? For example, they do not even mention HoN in the source article. SUMMER PLS. p.s. DH Open is a brand of Dreamhack that doesn't include Dota. They have Dreamleague for that which is a standalone brand. DH Open is the brand they like to travel the circuit with.

No i wont be watching or care about anything that is about Dreamhack. I always wanted to travel down to Jönköping and watch it live. Guess that will never happen now.

Hard to announce tournaments for a game with no release date. I'm hoping it will be released in time for DreamHack Winter ![]() http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/2ykdcf/announcing_dreamhack_open_2015/cpacnjs it might still be possible to see SC2 at Winter
