Except PartinG. PartinG is now in Code S for 3 years straight no matter what format or name changes, no matter if he has to requalify or not. It's been 3 years, 3 years since he gave his last fuck.

Mvp didn't even show up makes me sad. Is the King of Wings gone for good?

Looking at the groups I'm more surprised that Flash/sOs/soO/Zest didn't make it to Code S than that "Koreigners" made it to Code S

Other then Penguin, this is the least surprising list of players ever. I hope we get some new comers next year!

The greatest SC2 tourney so far just happened in a blink of an eye. No vods.
What fallout.
MarineKing vs Life finals.

Man that's just bad, also not having Zest sucks. But they'll probably qualify next season and then get seeded into every season after that until eternity anyways.

He's only getting older and the injuries he's had in the past aren't something that just goes away especially if he's still practicing at all. His injuries are the type that will only fully heal from what I understand if he doesn't play at all since every time they get re-aggravated they don't heal. However, if he's not practicing much if at all then I doubt he can keep pace with the other top tier competition. Not a doctor tho so I could be completely wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm close to being right about this.

MarineKing vs Life finals. MKP vs Rain or Life vs Rain finals.

SSL and GSL seem pretty redundant, especially now that most of the players are the same.

Terran prevails again long live terran

So many 2011 players. 2011 = golden age of SC2.

"Fail is better than 2nd" - soO "OK" - Choya (Satan) soO places 3rd in group both qualifiers.
And Zest confirmed patchtoss.

I can't wait to feel the excitement from Tasteless and Artosis when they welcome all these great players back to Code S!

It was the same in Brood War for the MSL and OSL, and it was a good thing. The same players qualifying for both tournaments means the game is more about skill and less about random luck.

Those qualifiers results are so strange... So many awesome players got left behind. Oh well, the level of play is still going to be mind-blowing.

Just as I thought it would be impossible for me to hate Life any more than I already do, you find a scenario that could make it possible. I hope that never happens
Really though, no vods for the qualifiers? There had to have been some amazing games and story lines going into this that I'm missing out on.

Zest has forgettable results outside the WCS 2014 season. It's eerie, really, how fast he rose at the beginning of 2014, beginning with the SKT all-kill. And now how fast he plummeted (his PvZ most, no less) in the beginning of WCS 2015.
Patchtoss.

The one when they nerfed protoss, or the other one when they buffed the other races? Pretty impressive to be a nerf-patchtoss in my opinion.

He wasn't a patchtoss but he definitely was riding his great PvP. For example in the Kespa cup he only played against Protoss for the whole tournament. His PvZ was also very strong and it wasn't a broken MU like PvT used to be in early 2014.
