Now, before I start none of this is actually due to my computer, as my PC can run SC2 fine. But what's really happened is confusing. Everything was working out fine on SC2, but then when I tried to log in it'd come up with the familiar "Can't connect to battle.net" message when I was logging in. The strange thing was that my internet was working fine. One week on, I'm still having problems. My rank has dropped, but the that's not the worst of it. Even when playing in a custom game I have issues where the game disconnects from battle.net, then creates a huge lag spike in order to reconnect, and then it immediately disconnects. I haven't played online since because I don't want to throw away bonus pool to something I didn't do. Does anyone have any tips to make this stop? Thanks.

You can play online Unranked to test without losing Rank. Check firewall settings etc, possibly redownload SC2?

I'm probably going to check the firewall settings, but I think it may be my internet provider's fault. I don't know what caused it, but my friend had it and he got it working eventually, and we have the same internet provider. It's depressing that it's entirely random when this happens as well.

I find that the game has a hard time showing score screen and ladder sometimes. Just keeps spinning or gives me an error, I am not sure if blizzard has patched this recently or not.

That happens sometimes to me as well. Never mind the fact that LotV could be broken or not, I think that needs to be fixed.
