The thing that made the Reaver exciting was the utter randomness of scarabs bugging out and the huge damage potential (plus the exciting micro). I think Bliz would rather have a more consistent Reaver...which would make it horribly overpowered, were it to retain the micro potential and huge damage. So damage would get nerfed...to the point where it wouldn't be as exciting. Considering the slightly absurd investment, mid-game Reaver harass will never be viable in SC2 (unless Bliz overhauls the game so that defenders have a more significant advantage). It'll be a late-game tool, which means it won't be as exciting. Or, it'll be part of the deathball. | ||

Whatever they are doing, give Terran the highest range unit again. So annoying to have the slowest army but not the highest range heh. | ||

Reasonable assumption; but enough time has passed for Blizzard to un-do any potential damage of the sound clip. It's not one start-up, Blizzard is enormous, and somebody would have been able to deal with it if it was an accident/fake. | ||
