The point of Starbow is the opposite of trying to discredit Blizzard and trying to usurp SC2, instead it's supposed to coexist with SC2 and allow people to play the game they like the most. (Blizzard created the map editor and arcade system, anyhow, allowing projects like Starbow to exist) | ||

Yes, a majority of people on TL (including me) are not fans of Blizzard's handling of SC2 and don't like Blizzard developers. No, shitting on them in the Starbow thread is not going to change anything for SC2. It's pointless and might actually antagonize the SC2 team into working against this mod if they get butthurt. | ||

I agree too that its not to discredit Blizz, because afterall THEY were the ones who created these tools and they were created just because of this. I wanna see DB or DK interview though where they are asked about starbow. I'm sure that they pretty much know how starbow plays out. It would be really interesting to see, how they comment on the gameplay. | ||

That still not might lead to the result you want because no single pro knows everything about their race, in the same way that no single person knows all about starcraft (or starbow). Second, different pros might not agree which could lead to a deadlock. I don't think there is a 100% sure way to secure design and balance. But, I think leaving it up to Pros is one of the worse ways. | ||
